Guys, currently on MR-starhub, want to change plan to $10 one, is it a good idea to switch to MR-M1? Any "downgrades" like speed or coverage or hidden clauses?

Giga $10, CMLink $10, MR $10 all can try.

Try till you find the right one

Finally they allow UNO plan users to switch. Did they mentioned need to change SIM card or anything?

Because the old plans including UNO is under Starhub. For signups after 31 March will be under M1. I don't know if there is an agreement made between starhub and M1 to transfer customers over or Starhub agreed to MyRepublic for existing customers to onboard on the new plans

Anyone changed from UNO to Lite plan yet?

About to pull the trigger - but thought best to check in here first to find out if anyone has any horror stories to share... :)

I switch from circles life to the 10 dollar plan.
It's about same for me although I think for MYR, the latency is a bit high, webpages takes a tad bit slower to connect and sometimes on the train, download speed not so fast. No practical difference and I really like the 350 mins talk time and free in coming.
But if circles like have a 7 dollar plan..I will switch back again ! Actually, if they have a 10 dollar plan similar to MYR, I will switch back also.

Tio the $100 deposit when trying to sign up online. Really interested with the $17 for 50gb but not really willing to pay the 100 bucks deposit. My credit history is clean eh, no overdues etc..

Should I just pay the 100 deposit? Lol.

MyRepublic sim card can only hold 250 contacts? :s22:

Who the heck still uses the SIM card to store contacts unless you still using a primitive Nokia phone.

Nowadays everyone can store unlimited contacts with many more details like birthdays, addresses in Google or Apple cloud

Is going to be 4th day tomorrow. No sign of My republic porting my number. Normally how long it takes to port after sim card delivery? If they are not porting today. Can I cancel the porting and the temp number given by MR? When can I cancel MR news connection? Any idea

MR coverage good? Got dead spots?
Never port to my republic. I m waiting for last 4 days to get my number port. Their customer care says it will happen with in 2 days after the sim delivered. Already 4 days over. Now they say wait. Keep paying for both starhub and My republic. As my republic biking already started. Before porting they had already mailed the invoice.

Can’t really help you on this. Personally seldom use sms so it is a great deal for me. Even if I need to use sms, say 20 per month, it gonna cost me $1.07 more which is manageable.

Good luck to you with MR

sajokj I think you don't have the luck. Staying with Starhub is any day better than going to MyRepublic.

I am actually laughing. To save money for SMS and in the end get a lousy service
