Guys TX401 is PCIe 3 X4 but my MB 2nd slot is only PCIe 2 X8
will be step down to PCIe 2 X8 or PCIe 2 X4?
Thanks will get it nowTX401 will step down@ PCIe 2 X4 @ 2 GB/s which is still sufficent for 10Gbps (1.25GB/s) NIC :

Note: CAVEAT: PCIe Lanes on a Chipset Can Be Shared on your MB 2nd slot![]()
Metro ethernet/Active optical ethernet (point-to-point) is definitely more expensive vs XGS-PON and costs more to scale up. MR 10Gbps monthly subscription is one-third of SI/VQ's.
Sad man, updated to latest driver and firmware and cannot get higher than 4K DL :/

singtel/starhub same result :3Try SingTel SpeedTest server to see if you get better results.

can't be since my upload are 8KI see. Then probably your system is not really 10G ready...

ya i use ventoy too. i use custom win10 thou so...Well, if your windows OS is somehow bloated/unoptimized, can try Kali Linux Bootable USB which should have out-of-box plug&play driver supports the linux kernels >= 3.10 .
Bonus tips: Ventoy: 1-usb-rulez-all![]()
30 more days to D-Day....In the end, I believe MR and Starhub will get the approval from IMDA and continue the 10Gbps plan.
At least better than standard 1Gbps la,Sad man, updated to latest driver and firmware and cannot get higher than 4K DL :/

Hi,
i just sign up Starhub 10 Gbps HomeHub+ and i am wondering where can i buy the USB type c to 10Gb ethernet adaptor. Most shops are only selling USB type c to 2.5Gb ethernet adaptor only. Please share. Thanks.
The problem is i never buy from non local seller as i am worry i may get a spoilt one. I prefer to buy from Local Seller so there is warranty on the product. I have thunderbolt 4 on my laptop. This 2.5G is everywhere. As far as I know there is no USB 3.2 to 10Gbps ethernet adapter (no matter it is Gen 2 or Gen 2x2).
You can only get Thunderbolt 3 to 10G Ethernet now.

If your laptop has Thunderbolt 3/4 port, then you can buy the 10Gbe Ethernet adatpers mentioned in the above URL or in this thread. They are not cheap though.
If not, you may have to get a Desktop PC and buy a PCIe 10Gbe adapter. PCIe based 10Gbe adapters will be cheaper than the Thunderbolt 3/4 based 10Gbe adapters.
Or you can get USB 3 to 5Gbe adapter as a temporary solution. Example:
