Nope, it starts on the day you purchase the plan

Its not hard to do by urself manually.

For eg, I'm into mileage card instead of cashback thus I do the homework myself and review each bank t&c and what perks they can offer, where to spend(online vs elsewhere) to maxmium my miles earning.

IMHO.
IIRC, mine took 1 day.

My story from SIMBA to Heya.

1715hrs: Bought the Heya SIM over the counter.

1735hrs: Heya SIM activated.

2300hrs: SIMBA emailed line terminated.

0230hrs: SIMBA number ported in to Heya and fully functional.

Ok just executed my own StarHub Star-simOnly plan port in to Heya.

it’s a very weird feeling. I had been with StarHub for more than 15 years.starhub has been family but it ended so quickly now. Got this number with Motorola e398 back then. Nonetheless it’s a new beginning with singtel family. hope all will be good

this time around they issued me a temporary number. The other day at Tampines when I got the heya SIM card for MyRepublic port-in they never issue temporary number. Why is that so

Should thoroughly test Simba's connectivity and capacity at the location before making a final decision. I previously recommended switching from Simba to Heya due to these concerns.

the SIM card is for a P3 child who don’t know much about about data coverage. So we use this opportunity to test simba network and at the same the SIM card provides some connectivity for the child and us caregivers. Also hope there will be better port-in promos next year from all mvno so we will eventually jump. Or let simba SIM card remain in use until the child grow up and complain cannot play game while in mrt or shopping centre

E.g. last time my colleague SMS for breakfast, the SMS close to lunch time then arrived.

Hi finally it’s activated today. After about 3 days.

buy sim card 30 oct
port-in from MyRepublic to heya on 31 Oct evening. But data not able
to use till 4 nov. expiry date of data is showing 30 days from today.

overall very happy with the process and experience. The heya team here is doing a brilliant job.

singtel-prepaid > simba on 10 nov> wait 40 days and then>heya port-in

my other brother StarHub sim-only postpaid >transfer ownership to him>heya port-in. Hopefully do while the current promo of free rice. Still got free 2nd month for port in right ?

If you get a new line from Heya they used recycled numbers and some people found their WhatsApp number is banned!

Better to get a new line from Giga because they use fresh numbers, then port in to Heya.

Correct. Don't waste time with Simba. Just go straight to Heya.

What if your kid has an emergency, needs to call you, and has "no signal" because you wanted to teach him a lesson about poor signal coverage with Simba?

Already mentioned about a million times in this thread that Heya does not have auto-renew / auto-payment / auto-anything.

All data plans have to be manually purchased, whether it's from the wallet balance or credit card via the mobile app or Lazada / Shopee.

You will get $10 Wallet credit a few days after porting in.
