No need 7 days, for me is 5 days before the next billing due as I last minute chose to port in to Heya instead of vivifi. They advised 7 days to buffer if there is any errors or weekends in between. But like that others said, it’s better to give 7 days. The few bucks of savings is not worth it.
i did not bother with billing due dates because too many numbers were involved. if u port on a sat, after midnight, it will be ported. one day is enough. so sunday can use if sat port. does not matter if holiday or weekend. i think the backend is automated

1. Can I transfer my existing number to heya?
Yes. To transfer your existing number, it must be an active Postpaid mobile line with no outstanding payments and registered under your NRIC/FIN with your telco. Your request to port-out from your existing telco must be submitted at least 7 days before your next billing cycle.

We are unable to support port-ins from Singtel plans at the moment

4. I've opted to port in my number. When can I start using my heya?

Transferring your number to heya will take up to 3 days. You can use your heya SIM after successful port in.

All these numbers given are worse case scenarios, in reality the porting can be as fast as same (working) day depending on how fast hand fast leg the receiving telco submits the MNP request.

1.The problem is Heya take their own sweet time. It took them 3 days to port my number to them. So if they don't port in the same day or the next day, you cannot fault them.

2. I did not submit 7 days b4 the next billing cycle, hence my existing telco deducted the following month bill. Despite I write to them twice, they act blur and no response.

So I learned my lesson . Hope others don't fall into the same situation as me.

It happened to me using Zero 1, another mvno of ST. My friends using Gomo also has this issue lately. Think main culprit is ST.
