You're assuming that customer support aren't idiots.I asked the salesperson. He say no incoming SMS if go other countries beside Malaysia and Thailand
I didn't call their customer support.. I went down the shop and asked the salesperson who did the signing up of Heya.. even you buy the IDD for the country (beside MY and TH).. can only make call, no SMS service for sending and receiving.. so if u need OTP on overseas trip, then think again..You're assuming that customer support aren't idiots.
That's a very brave assumption.
You'll get far better customer support from the helpful folks in this forum who actually use and own Heya SIM cards. Not some clueless person in a large South Asian country giving answers from last year's outdated Word documents.
This is all well and good but at the end of the day, someone who travels to anywhere outside of MY/ID/TH can confirm.I didn't call their customer support.. last year Dec when I was in Vietnam, I managed to receive OTP sms for my banking app. Will monitor again this year Dec when I travel to VietnamI didn't call their customer support.. Tiagong from others rather than getting official reply. You more brave. You're assuming that customer support aren't idiots.

quite fast, within 1-3 days, I remember correctly.Anyone signed up recently got the $10 wallet credits? How long it takes to see the $10?

My 200+GB expire in 26 days; calls/sms expire in 21 days; Roaming data expire in 18 days.Used $10 in my wallet given free (2nd month free port in promotion) to buy the $10 plan. Did it using both the mobile app and dialing *119#, option 2, then option 1. Both work in exactly the same way.
Data increased from 150+ GB to 200GB immediately.
After about 30 minutes (actually less since many of you here are kanchiong spider), got another message for bonus 50GB. So now I have 250GB.
Note that 250GB isn't guaranteed since their official Heya website mentions the maximum rollover is 200GB. So if you get it, good. If you don't, you can't complain.
Please note that the service level indicates that it could take 1 to 3 says for the extra bonus 50GB to come in. So if you get it within 30 minutes, good. If you get it on the 3rd day, you can't complain.
Lastly, please note it is fine to purchase the $10 data plan (from wallet or Lazada or Shopee or physical retailer) on the last day of expiry. My data expires on 25 August (the mobile app will say 0 days left, it's all good, data is still there), so I can buy the plan anytime between 00:00 and 23:59 hours today on 25 August to maximize the expiry date and also enjoy the rollover benefits.
Of course please don't wait until 23:59 buy the plan because if there is some delay activating the plan on their backend (online retailer is slow to buy for you, backend issues etc.), then you will lose all rollover benefits.
You will still get the bonus 50GB data though.
Depends on which rollover benefit you wish to use.My 200+GB expire in 26 days; calls/sms expire in 21 days; Roaming data expire in 18 days.
Which expiry should we use to purchase the $10 data plan?
I want the local data and roaming data rollover. Don’t care about the calls/sms.Depends on which rollover benefit you wish to use.
Then you have to purchase the $10 plan on the day that the roaming data expires, as that expires first.I want the local data and roaming data rollover. Don’t care about the calls/sms.
