I think is because the 50GB extra top up was only credited the day after sign up. hence the data plan is extended one day later.

It should be the same case as per every new sign up.

oic, for moi the base plan(call/sms) ends around 1 month later than data since the start.

Ok. But you will still need to renew your line via the app/ SMS every 30days.
Best to topup during discount via Shopee (~$9/30days) like what Tedicious did.

Max is $30. Everytime u buy the plan, the expiry is 30 daya from the day u buy.

You can explore other Singtel based MVNOs like Zym, Zero1 and Vivifi. They will auto deduct from your card. Heya seems to be the only one with this hassle.

I using heya now, for $10 or so i get 250gb data every month refresh, 1gb roaming, some 800 mins call time due to rollover and it is using singtel network. Sometimes if i buy top up from shopee i can get it around $9 or so. The value is so insanely good that i have no plan to return to giga for now. Giga need a $10 plan with at least 100gb data and free roaming to compete with the rest.

VoLTE + rollover (including roaming data rollover) + possibility to pay lower (below $10) nett cost when top up via online / 3rd party sources -- are all factors that can be attractive to some people to use Heya.

IMHO if you roll over 200gb means you dont actually use so much data monthly . i don't even use >20gb a month myself on zym ...
