You want a 1000w psu? I'm selling off mine and going to ITX. I'mm selling off at 160$. pm me if you want. 2-3 year old but the fan never turn on before and looks brand new haha

Why would you need a 1k watt psu? Running lots of hdd, ssd, led strips or preparing for a custom water cooling build soon ?

Edit: 650. Saw some others asking ts wanted a 1k watt and thought he put it in his build.

Still got budget ? If have, can consider nvme for boot and ssd for storage.

Probably boot time from 30 sec to 10 sec and faster game loading time. If budget allows though

650w probably enough for the build, but I would personally get at least 750 or more just because psu can last a really long time and may save me the cash from needing to upgrade again 3 years down the road. As you can see, gpu power requirements just keep increasing

The 500gb SSD is planned to be an NVME for my boot files and games that are infamously slow

Seasonic focus plus older revision have known issue with GPU that have higher ripple that causes the protection built into the PSU to trip and cause a shutdown. Seasonic was only able to find the tripping issue with certain gtx 970 and vega 56/64 model at the time of the incident which was a few years ago and not sure how it will affect future graphics card you might buy.

Just thought it would be important to mention incase your PSU keeps tripping with a future GPU upgrade. Newer 2019 revision fixed those problems but since you mentioned it was from 2018, then yours is in the affected batch.

Change SSD, Lexar one is dramless, no point buying dramless ssd at that price.
WD750SN on Amazon USA at $80 SGD cheaper, faster and better with DRAM. Amazon refund policy is a breeze so don't worry about dead drives.

For B450 boards, they don't support Ryzen 5000 out of the box, store need to flash bios for you. You need a Ryzen 3000 and below to flash it.

With regards to Asrock, better google the how the bios look like, some features are not there compared to other brands. Since you going for matx, its either Asrock Steel Legend M or MSI Mortar Max, both are the same price, can google how their bios look like.

No diff for a regular user. Linus Tech Tips did before a test, even their in house personnel couldn't tell the difference.

At max only 1-2 secs diff.

Also I just picked the cheapest motherboard because I don't know what makes a good and a bad one

Also yeah I'm going to try buying my storage and ram online, but I havent had time to do proper research on that yet. The storage and ram choice might change after I do more research

Ram if want to cut cost, just buy non rgb one. As long as it is 3200mhz and CL16 will do. This setting for Ryzen build is best value. 3200mhz vs 3600mhz, not worth the money for the small fps boost since GPU yield a higher FPS difference between the different tiers.

I thougt 3600 was the sweet spot for AMD?
But yes, I want to try and minimize costs as much as possible, wanna get the best value for my 2k budget lol, so I wanna give amazon a shot
