If the only wrong is due to using Michelle chen as xiaolong bao......then this mistake got a happy ending.
The 2 leads fell in love n got married in real life.
Regarding the show, overall not too bad imho.

The way the story unfolds.....the subplots.....the 3 main characters with their own story.....love hatred deceit loyalty.....with a dash of religion teachings.....
Intriguing to the end.

Probably because when JY is writing this story, since YG already lost his right arm (in the storybook), and already deeply depressed since his Long Er already missing so long. Therefore, he thought of mixing depression into the skill - 黯然销魂掌 more appropriate as it sounds rather than 黯然销魂剑, doesn't sound right.
