I think the term you’re looking for is the “dock”, not console. You only need it if you want to play on the tv, and there are cheap adapter versions that would work if you don’t want to buy a genuine Nintendo one.
Ya, dock is the one I looking for. I see shopee selling those original around $100+.

Our favorite taobao website is selling those original much much cheaper. Thinking of getting it from taobao. Anyone try bought those original dock from taobao?

Hii guys, my son have been gifted a used nintendo switch led from his cousin. He didnt pass the console to us. As his father, I am totally noob to this nintendo switch thingy =).

I have a few qns. We don't have the console. So if want to update, izzit a must to have the console?

And we want to connect the switch to the TV and play via the TV, what accessories should I get to ?

Does shop here sell the console separately? Or is it a must to have the console?

Sorry for the long post and thanks for reading
how come i dont know what are you talking about?

Switch魔派双子星二代, coiorvis or iine one good? I saw taobao these 3 brands quite popular
I am one of the early adopters of Mobapad M6S and have used IINE controllers for years. IINE's marketing is the strongest but their glaring issue is their lack of quality control, causing RGB malfunction or Dpad issue. However, I love their top trigger feedback.

As for Mobapad, you can watch all the positive reviews on YouTube on their latest M6S and M6HD. From my personal experience, the M6S is the best Joycons that I have ever owned. From the quality build to the gamer-centric design language to the aesthetics, Mobapad M6S bags it all.

While I did consider Coiorvis, it loses out to Mobapad M6S in terms of both pricing and value. In addition, their 2nd latest chunky Joycons are similiar to Hori Split Pads that don't allow you to use a case for your Switch console when attached. To me, Mobapad M6S is really a no-brainer winner. It's also one of the rare third party Joycons to have NFC. IINE only has NFC for their non-joycon type controllers.

My newest purchase is Omelet Gaming's latest Mini Joypads that glow in the dark. Honestly, i don't care for the glowy novelty at all. It's the solid Hall Effect analog sticks, compact smooth shell and overall stability that I like. Been working well for me so far, and it's good for gamers who don't want the chunky joycon type from Mobapad, Coiorvis or IINE.

Just my two cents'. Hope that helps 🙂

While geeks like you and I use hwz, the majority of the public and Switch buying crowd would care little if their Mario or Animal Crossing runs at 4K or not. Leave the pointless resolution spec chasing to the PS and Xbox crowd.
Animal crossing on 4K
Can truly appreciate the design one has invested in. Lol

Hi @segafan , do you need to create a Japanese PayPal account to buy from Japan's eshop?
Hi sorry late reply! No lah, no need! I tied it to my one and only PayPal account. All my 3 accounts tied to the same PayPal account; tried purchasing from all 3 and paid using PayPal, no issues. :)

Hmm.. Don't mind I clarify, you have only 1 account and that same account you have been switching regions whenever you want to make a game purchase? Is my understanding correct?

Try changing the account region directly via the main website (not your device settings) e.g., use your laptop or mobile phone. Do that, then attempt accessing via your Switch.

Yes bro, just go to Carousell or any thrift stores/ junk stores to buy any used Nintendo Switch dock. Any dock will work, as long as your Nintendo Switch itself is not the Switch Lite model. Source: https://www.nintendo.com/my/support/qa/detail/33984

If not, you can try any spare USB-C Hub where you can plug-in the HDMI cable and also the USB-C power or equivalent. e.g., my work laptop uses this UGreen brand USB-C Hub where it has multiple USB ports, HDMI out port, LAN port and another USB-C port to connect to the laptop power adapter. I connected it to my Switch LED and it works fine. Not guarantee it can work on any USB-C Hub brand, have to try on your own. Hope this helps!

Yes correct. Exactly as you described.

I'll try it and report back.

Yeah must change both on website and "system" in switch right? Got to login again.

If there's a dedicated account for another country then no need to do that.
