ok i placed an order for the Switch Lite Hyrule edition. This will be my first ever handheld. Have also gotten a 256GB Samsung microsd already. Based on some quick research, have figured out it's a bad idea to buy from G2A.com or any seller that claims that I need to login using their account.

For my first game, thinking of getting a 2nd hand Pokemon cartridge from Carousell. How does the update work?

Nowadays, games usually release broken or partially functional at launch, so there'll be post-launch updates. So I'll insert the cartridge, create a Nintendo account, then the update will be installed onto the microsd?

Yes, updates for the games will be downloaded as soon as you connect to wifi. Don’t buy digital games from third party sellers, only buy from Nintendo direct or get a 2nd hand physical copy to save money.

what case fits a Switch Lite that has a grip? I bought a Tomtoc slim case, which is fine for the Switch Lite on its own but not with a grip. The case can be zipped up, but its a tight fit.

This is the grip.

Anyone here bought the Animal Crossing edition Switch Lite? The Animal Crossing game that it is bundled with, does it come complete with the game cover case? Thanks!

Want to check if singapore region still has no eshop and no online subscription.

My current account was set to americas since 2017. Want to subscribe to nintendo online to backup all my game saves and later to use them on switch 2 once released.

Now Taka selling for $400 with free game. The new version 2 will be $560 to $600
Thank you. Already night is last month at best. No free game. $369. Luckily last two weeks got the sale at Ubi where we got some games. Seems like sports is still the preferred game over the last one month.

I think $399 with a game is ok. Can buy used games from carousell also. If version 2 comes out, can buy another version 2 also

The design of the Nintendo’ Switch 2’s next-gen console may have been leaked — yet again — by an accessory creator. Dbrand, a company that’s no stranger to controversy, has posted a page for its upcoming case for the Nintendo Switch 2.

UPDATE: Dbrand’s CEO Adam Ijaz has confirmed to Insider Gaming that the actual design of the Nintendo Switch 2 is what’s in the case in the animations.

“That is correct: it is the Switch 2 with our Killswitch case on it (similar in principle to our Killswitch for the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and ROG Ally X),” he said.

The company first shared a look at the back of the case online on its social media pages. With it came the message, “we will not be answering any questions at this time.”

Just under 20 hours later, Dbrand doubled down with a link directly to a page titled “Switch 2”, with even more looks at the case it calls the “Switch 2 Killswitch”. On the page itself, however, is where you get a better look at what appears to be the design of Nintendo’s next system. An animation of the case rotating seems to show a Switch 2 console, complete with the curved joy-cons and extra buttons that we saw from the past design leaks.

Aside from the animation, the only other thing on the webpage is a form to signup to be notified when it becomes available.

Nintendo Switch 2 Case from Dbrand

Despite stating that they would not be answering any questions, Insider Gaming has reached out to Dbrand’s CEO on the case and design. Should a response be received, it will be added to this article.

What do you think of these Nintendo Switch 2 design leaks, this time by Dbrand?
