Me too. Just got swapped a new 7+ following $38 battery change. Played around with the 8 and X and didn’t really find much difference. Hate the notch screen and still love the home button / fingerprint sensor. Don’t really care for wireless charging. 7+ cam is good enough for me.

Yes that's a gd idea as can prolong use of your 7.

After using iphX for 10 mths, i think i still like the iph7 plus better
1. The face ID ,although secured n gd, still slower than finger sensor. Plus very troublesome- u hve to bring to up to get it unlocked n sometimes this doesn’t work n u hve to key in pasw
2. Sometimes the iph X just freeze or autocall out or bring on Siri without me doing it. I never had such problems with ip7 plus
3. I hardly use the animoji so doesnt make any difference
4. Although wireless charging avail, i always find myself using wired charging
5. If not because of recontract, I really think this phone, although great, is not worth the price
The above r just my opinion n i will go bk to finger sensor if the new prdts didnt hve it.

Valid points. It's a similar situation to the first generation of fingerprint iphone sensors. Those didn't work very well too. It's like apple's first gen tech is always the beta, but the subsequent releases are always super polished

i think it's different.

b4 TouchID, to unlock your phone you will have to key passcode. with TouchID, comes convenience.

but from TouchID to FaceID, users need to change their usage habits (e.g. bring up to face, cant unlock at certain angle). so the new thing might or might not be convenient.

i rather they jus reset the naming and start calling it by the year model.

last time iPhone 4 to 5 -> 5 rows of icons

Wanted to leave Apple to try out xiaomi new flagship phone ..

But then again, i realise im stuck in their ecosystem.

I have macbook pro, 3 iphones (2 work, 1 leisure), iwatch and ipad ... Everything is all sync .. Really hard to leave...

Just hope they can be kinder to my wallet ...... Or i will just stick to iph 7 .

i think it's normal bah.

thats how they labeling their Macbooks. (early/mid/late 20xx)

now they have this problem with X. so next year's model would be XI? XX in a few year's time? then what happened to 9? lol

one of the comment makes sense. should jus name it iPhone 2019. liked FIFA games liddat.

anyways, i jus think this year (or last) should be a chance for Apple to reset the naming.

Just do it.. At one time, I had 2 iMac 27", iPad, iPad Mini, iPhone4,5,6,8 Plus.

iMac cannot work well with MS office software, so switched to Windows. iPad sold off, now left my 8plus, which battery sucks. This will be my last apple product.
