Note 2 battery life

yeah saw someone recommend it and went to see the reviews but saw some bad reviews about it. are u using it? so does it means when my phone is on standby mode i will only receive my whatsapp msg after quite some time?

And you just name the app that's been causing your battery drain!

By default note 2 didnt have sleep problem like the rest of galaxy series.

You should expect around 1% batt usage per hour of standby mode. (4G all the way standby mode) Of course there are many otherswho claim do be able to perform better.

U dont need any prevent deep sleep crap app to be installed at all. I strongly advise u to found root of problem n fix it instead of getting crap batt apps. This is one of my typical batt graph no root phone.

but from the stats i dont see whatsapp being the main culprit leh? whatsapp like only take up very little battery only?

1% per hour is considered good if you have 4G on plus data and full syncing but when u're sleeping why u need data in the first place? turning data/wifi off while you're sleeping should give you a % drop of maybe 3% overnight if there's no rogue app running in the background preventing the phone from going into deep sleep

Yah .. same here ... the cable that came with the Note 2 .. has 1 pin on the cable missing. The Note 1 cable has 5 pin.

It's normal for Android to run loads of things in background. Doesn't mean they're draining battery, to be clear.

Anyone having noticeably dropping battery lifespans?
Recently I charge full by 11pm, nv use...then morning like already 95. At most only 1 alarm ring for 10secs. By the time im in the train and all...having scanned my phone few times. 90.
Tend to get thru a workday and end with 30plus. Not quite what I remember having earlier.

Is there any device I can buy to see my the charge my battery is holding? In mah?
So we can all start narrowing any issues to whether its battery or device related.

No idea why it's dropping when it's idling now, just occasional whatsapp/line since am at work now.

Side question regarding ram.

How much ram is ur note2 using on avg, and after clear ram?
Mine seens to average 1.3gb with browser youtube wassapp facebook...etc. clearing ram gets me down to 800mb. This is out of the 1.75gb it states it has.

800mb after clearing just seems like a lot. And without gaming at 1.3gb with just 400mb to spare seems a little tight.

I'd like to reiterate that time is mostly spent idling as well as Whatsapp/Line with very light surfing.

Batt is definitely bad, my friend who's streaming radio all day was at 56% at 5pm while I'm at 37% idling.
