It is not a loop hole. If spouse is listed as occupier, income is not accessed.
HDB InfoWEB: Add New Occupier : Living in HDB flats : Change Owners or Occupiers

By listing spouse as occupier means that the spouse is not a owner and has not legal obligation to finance the mortgage. The spouse cannot finance the mortgage nor has any legal responsiblilty if main applicant defaults payment.

This make sense if for example husband is the only one servicing and paying for the flat and the wife does not pay a single cent. Husband wants to own the flat entirely since wife does not pay a single cent. Future sale proceedings of the flat will go entirely to husband.

Hi bro, in the first place a Family Nucleus is needed to be eligible to purchase a new flat.

HDB InfoWEB: Eligibility to buy new HDB flat : Buying A New Flat

As what u mentioned above, if i am not wrong is refering to an old flat handed down by the parent or under the parent and child scheme.

You may check on the latest number of applications received via HDB web page under the application status tab. Some are alrdy over subscribed.

To make matter worse, the "actual" application rate for TPY and SK should be much higher as most applicants are only aiming for the project near the MRT. So technically, the units offered at the other site should be excluded to derive at a more accurate applicant rate? Haha..

Could you point me to where to go to see the subscription rate? I can't seem to find "Application Status" tab. Is it at the first page?

Hi sorry some questions 1st timer here. Interested in the tpy crest 4rm project which falls under jooseng/tpy

1. Once ballot application is received, Q number will be assigned right. In this case TPY crest 4room at about 400 + units than what Q number will be safe to choose units ? is it below 400 ?

2. I can only get to see what units are available for my choice when i pay the option fees ? So if lets say i get very lousy Q no like 2000 it is up to me to risk the option fee to book unit?

3. From my understand if lets say i pay the option fee and forfeit i will get no priority for one year for the subsequent bookings right ?

Thanks in advance guys!

1) 400 defiantly have.
600 still got some slim chance as many might give up because of low floor.

2) No. After getting Q no. Q no 1 will start to select. At this time you will start to see blue become red on all units.
Red as in people already pay the $2000 and book it.
More and more reds. Means the earlier Q number already selected.

3) yes

Selection is according to the queue number. Not first come first serve.

Bro according to what you understand if 400+ queue number usually will take how long to clear? 2 weeks or 1 month or..

Depends on how they schedule the different projects. You would know by the time they release the results because then everyone with a queue number will get an appointment date and time.

My guess though is that 400+ will be scheduled around late Feb or early March.

In the process of waiting my appointment can i check online for the status of the units left ?

Advise that you don't because I think it causes unnecessary stress worrying about it, you still have a few days before the application period ends.

However during the selection appointment, they will verify your stated income against your documents and change accordingly so it's not particularly important if it is incorrect now unless you happen to bust the income ceiling.
