oh. erm. 200. but they did mention how many are they acty gonna accept? 100? i think shld be 50 or smthg? just my guess k. cos i think they want to pick those really gd ones or smthg? i think this interview is very impt to me i guess. becos they are selecting ppl of various results. not ard the same results. like BCD, CCC, BCC, ACC. so like there's quite a gap in the results. who knows someone who got CCC did well in the interview and he/she may get an offer rather than someone who got ACC screwed up the interview. I m not sure too. just my guess.

erm. did they say dat u r not offered or smthg? they only ask me whats my plans if i m not offered.
anyway, they asked me quite alot on my pw. as in the professor with white hair. i was very stunt and dont know how to ans. yup. i think my chances of getting an offer is like 0.1% aldy. my bad to mess up the interview. erm. since u r sick of it, i think u have to consider carefully yea. cos i have a friend she hates physics like anything. and she is not doing well in common engine. yup. manage to pass lar, but is not smthg she wants.

Anyway, i'm not sure how many are they accepting.. N we'll receive our replies very soon.. today is wednesday.. so very very soon....
regardless how you screw up an interview or not, we must be thankful that we are given the chance to go for an interview.. we've done our very best.. that's all..

nope.. i doubt it's common engine.. I appealed for NTU Computer Science and NUS Computing... (are they HOT course?) hearing nothing from them yet and the admission acceptance site. I'm from poly with a GPA of 3.61.

hi kiryuu.... u mia for a short period of time? i think there's a group of pp who r very keen in com eng.....com eng cohort not very big also rite? i 4got.. r u going ns? maybe can consider applying an eng course and specialized in infocomm later.

haiz maybe mech eng is diff to get in afterall...shud have chose common instead, then at least i will be granted an interview... this yr soooooo competitive... all thanks to dragon batch and myself for not working hard...

ermm. ok. whats yr grades btw? anyway, having an interview probably raise yr chances becos at least u get shortlisted. but if u feel u are confident with the interview, den ur chances are really gd. but for me, haha, i messed up mine. so yup. i m like totally threw the chance away.

bcc gpD... some people have already gotten their appeal results yest... haiz at least you got yourself an interview. better than me waiting for miracles to happen...

2nd acceptance window is simply for people who got accepted into the school during this period, no matter the reason.

Bear in mind that there is alot of paperwork to be done by the student after getting accepted. On the NTU website (after obtaining your matri no.), there is a declaration portion.

For students who accepted offer on or before 9 June 2008:
21 June 2008

For students who accepted offer after 9 June 2008:
27 June 2008

I guess it is pretty obvious there should be some form of notice by the end of this weekend.

erm. some form of notice meaning? i also think so. anyway, someone mentioned dat the professor told him/her dat the interview ends this week. so i guess they probably will send out the appeal result by nxt week. i think whoever got accepted, shld receive nxt week. and again for those who may/will get rejected, probably is the week after nxt. dats what i feel. yup.

i went for the common engineering interview as well and the profs said that we will be notified within these few days. if we do not get news by next monday we got to call them already. zerogoal, those ppl who got their appeal results ytd was for common engineering is it? did they get a call from ntu or an email?

oh. i think for nus all the 1st year is the same. however for ntu, its different. the professors told me dat after common, u can only get into civil, eee, mechanical (i think) and envt engine. so i think ntu n nus have abit of difference. yup. o ok. every year is different. i think chem engine shld be at least aab or abb this year? i personally dont know.

Ntu engine students also learn basically the same thing if im not wrong, the difference bet the specialized people and the non-specialized ones for the first year is that for eg, bioengine people take 1 more module of bio or sth but basically its the same. Alot of seniors specialize in EEE and Mech after their first year in common engine so i got the impression that EE and Mech has many vacancies

the ntu admin abit............... i just called them to ask about my appeal status and they say it's by post so i told them 'but i heard people receiving sms already' and he say 'no we don't sms people'

from what i heard it was not that popular in the past, but usually quite alot of people appeal for that if they want to go uni but can't get into other courses. not sure how true is it now but.. just have to wait lorh. i'm waiting too but not for civil eng
