I have the plus card (due to ntuc insurance) and every September I will be given 4%(which may varies if got surplus) on the amount spent at NTUC. For financial year ended March 2012, 4.5% rebate is declared![]()
Best of both world. Ntuc card and f&f card. Ntuc gives est. 4% rebates, and f&f gives 5%, so total 9%. Best Deal in town. The no other combo beats it
...
So far i know, linkpoints can be exchanged for rebate on purchases, which amounts to 1.3% equivalent.
....
i always wondering how do they know how much I spend if pay by F&F card

The 1.3% is given only when u charge to ntuc visa. Still lose out to combo cards.if u spend $20 (minimal) per purchase, u get the additional 1.3% rebate. ($20 purchase =40 linkpoints given and 150 linkpoints=$1)
The 1.3% is given only when u charge to ntuc visa. Still lose out to combo cards.
So with a combo of f&f card, it's 5+4+1.3= 10.3%.I do not have ntuc visa- only the plus card. By getting 40 points(spending $20), I get 26 cents accumulated into my plus card.
So with a combo of f&f card, it's 5+4+1.3= 10.3%.
hi what is f&f card? so should i join member card only. or get the plus debit card also? also how to buy ntuc shares?

Hi Napster,
just join as ntuc union member, and you can get the 4%-5% rebate every year on your purchase at fairprice.
Welcome to NTUC U Portal
couple with maybank f&f card of 5% and Linkpoints(more than $20 purchase), you can get 10%+ discount.
The plus visa card (also a membership card) gives you credit card facilities. You will still need to show your union membership card upon payment with f&f.So basically don't need to get Plus! Visa card? Just use F&F to pay while signing up as a ntuc union member?

2. Own the Plus Card, cost $10 one time fee. I got my Plus Card long time with NTUC Insurance Policies, entitled to purchased shares which auto compounded over the years and earn yearly dividends. Plus card will allow u to clock your purchases so annual rebates can be calculated, % rebates varies each year (3-5%). Plus card also allow u to clock and redeem linkpoints at various participating merchants.
"Are u sure"??? Read my blog under "other investments" where I share every year how much I received in rebates and dividends from NTUC Fairprice.
Then look for the "missing link" under "FAQ" how my Plus Card acts as both rebates and linkpoints card. I'm not an NTUC Union Member, hor. Haha, happy reading.
