I applied for an OCBC account that suppose to come with credit card. 3 weeks liao still no news. Really super inefficient.

Nothing with my credit history as I have never taken any loan before. No debt and earning more than $70k a year.

I had a similar issue as you. OCBC setup a road show at my company and I applied to credit my salary into their account as well as apply for the FRANK card. To date still no news.

That was like more than 3 months ago ...

For me, troublesome will fade away once i see the $125 extra interest credited into my 360account every start of the month.

To some people, like my boss, who laugh at me for doing so much arrangement just for $125..he say he just play 1~2 hour forex everynight...his 1pip already more than $125.

No. of bill payments made (min. 3) = ( 50000 / 100 ) * 1 = S$500.00
Credit card spend amount(min. S$400) = ( 50000 / 100 ) * 1 = S$500.00

TOTAL = $25 + $500 + $500 + $500 = S$1525.00

$1525 / 12 = $127.08 per month

The counter staff says i need to apply for credit card so he went ahead and applied for Frank, Cashflo and Titanium for me. 1 month has passed and no news at all.

Called OCBC on Mon and super suprised. CSO mentioned there are no records of my CC application. Lucky i kept the hardcopy proof. They went on and say will get relevant dept to call me. Wait 1 month liao wait again.

Wanted to charge a bulk item to the CC wait until no tml. Very inefficient compared to other banks. Quite dissapointed with the level of service they are providing.

I've never really liked hardcopy application. Best is those online or via internet banking. Then can submit cpf or iras statement via singpass
