hi,

i would like to ask abt the possibility of paying a cc even though u did not spend or forget to spend on it for tt month. is it possible to do tt and does it count towards the 3 bill?
sometime i will just keep using a particular cc to chalk up the cash rebate (e.g. like stan chart manhattan)

i know tt when u overpay, it will just appear as a credit balance on the other bank cc to be use to reduce the next month bill

Just to share...I went to OCBC this afternoon to open a 360 account but was told that the promo 3% bonus rates will be valid only until July.

Now I'm wondering if it'll be worth the hassle doing all the admin work...my loss for being slow!

Maybe he/she just gave a friendly advice, or maybe asked you to be ready for any changes...

Nothing is certain, including this offer from OCBC. For this you shouldn't victimize anyone.

Hi kayelle

Thanks for sharing this but this information is incorrect and may have been a miscommunication. If you have the details on which branch you went to, do share it with us and we can follow up with the officer accordingly. Thanks

Thanks Greg for the clarification.

Over last weekend, I have just advised a few of my relatives to switch to OCBC 360 Account.

Hope that Kayelle information from Bedok OCBC Br??? is not true...

I was at the Bedok branch. Ya, I was like "Huh?!!" But the CSO did tell me that the 360 is not new and has been around for some time already...he did add that if all 3 bonus conditions are satisfied, one may potentially still get better rates than other banks for a savings account.

not wrong...

360 was already launched last yr...

That's great to hear! Like what a fellow forumer said, I'd better not comment further about the details of the CSO who had told me this. He may just be offering me a general advice since we all know good deals don't last forever, so better act fast if interested.

In any case, thanks OCBC for clarifying!

When, if not July, will the promo rate end?

Does anyone know, to qualify for the credit card spend bonus interest of 1% for ocbc 360 account, a minimum of S$400 across your OCBC Credit Cards, does it also include my spending on supplementary cards?

Thanks in advance.

Hi charcoal3256,

Any spending done by your supplementary, will be counted as part of the $400 spend criteria! Hope that helps.

Does anyone find the online banking somewhat buggy and unsecure?

I was able to pay an m1 bill without entering 2nd factor security code. There was also once I created 3 billing organization at one shot and when the third org I didn't receive the otp, and requested resend opt a few times without getting any, I gave up and exit that page and tried recreate the same billing org, It just went thru directly without need for otp.
.
Wheb I tried to write to customer service using the internal mailing system, it crashed.

Or is the problem with my browser? I'm usig google chrome.

Hi there!

We've not heard of a similar issue so far. But if you do encounter the same issues in future, do try to capture a screenshot (if there's any error messages popping up) & send it to us! Thanks!

Can someone advise me. .
If I maintained 50k inside for the whole month, what would the interest credited in on the 1st of next month? ? Eg.. The 0.05%?
Is it the same amount regardless of 30 days in a month or 31 days in a month? ?
Best if someone from ocbc can reply me. .
Thanks.

Hi saint84 and Gunboundz,

Thanks for pointing out the online calculator! It's fairly accurate, and you will get an idea of how much you'll be getting at the end of the month.

Hi OCBC,

My salary is credited in as IBG-GIRO but the description says STS-SAL.
So does it qualify for the salary bonus?
