I bought 2 padfone s. One for my girlfriend. Yeah, a pity he has to make double trip.

Both my wireless charging dock only works when the phone is placed upside down. I went to my contacts there to create a profile of my own. If that helps.

I still can't get my wireless.dock to charge the phone normally after increasing the height of it only can charge it upside down. Lol

Maybe it's a defect? If so.. try to exchange with them?

Both wireless dock same. I asked my friend whom had it for awhile his behaving e same also. Since its working, I'm ok with it. Later change one refurbished set with loads of problem even worst.lol

That's weird. Lol. Try to see the contact point where the phone and the plate must align to charge, then adjust the height of the plate to that. Mine worked after adjusting the plate all the way up, around 1 inch.

Update on my battery life:

Removed from wireless charger at 5.15am this morning. Surprisingly, it only charged up to 99%. Takes ages to charge as I started charging around 10.30pm the previous night.

As of now, I still have 90% battery left. In that 5 hours or so, I used the phone for whatsapp and took a couple of picture. Seems like the Snapdragon processor has good power management. Battery life was comparable, if not better than the Zenfone 5.

I will try adjusting the height of the wireless charger when I get home tonight. Just felt odd that the phone has to be placed upside down while charging. But I might just revert back to cable charging since it should be much faster.

Update on my battery life:

Removed from wireless charger at 5.15am this morning. Surprisingly, it only charged up to 99%. Takes ages to charge as I started charging around 10.30pm the previous night.

Charging is actually pretty quick in the wireless charger, I got from 40% to 99% in about 1.5 hours. For some reason, charging wirelessly only goes up to 99%. I had it in the charger for 2 hours more but it never went up to 100%. I had to connect to the micro usb charger before it charged up to 100%. Could it be a bug? or a built in feature to prevent overcharging?

just hooted 1 set from the flash sale. delivery is horrific. their asus hotline forever nobody picks up and can auto cut off. their email replies also cmi. where to get their accessories like sp or cover etc??? mine is white color so a bit careful hahaha

it will be a miracle is someone from asus picks up your call. their hotline is gone case. thought they have one service ctr at somerset 313?

Try to slide the sim all the way in, until you hear or feel it click. It actually locks into place like the micro SD. I also thought the sim can't be detected because I was afraid to slide the sim all the way. Later I realized there's a mechanism that locks the sim card inside.

i receive mine on LNY eve - I bought mine on 17 Feb. The phone is back to the service centre yesterday cos cannot detect sim..

now waiting for service centre to inform on next course of action.

i got back my set from service ctr. overall look n feel is good.. battery life is acceptable to me, likely will get power bank..
