Hiya fellow Changians, I have succesfully ported in by 12.30am. They would drop both an email and sms to notify that the port-in is successful. Thereafter, the Changi Go app would also reflect the updated cellphone number.

Tried porting in just now (26 Oct, 1800). Delivery slots all full. Earliest 2 Nov. Does it mean I miss the promotion?

Just chatted with them online (wah, wait more than 30 min, nearly zzzz). They confirmed the $8 Flexi Value deadline is 31 Dec.

Also confirmed that if you sign up for porting in, the port-in is effective 2 - 3 days after confirming sim card received in the changi app.

how's the speed and coverage? Smilar to CL/MR or better than them? Some said bandwidth management by M1 is a better speed for Changi SIM...

Not a single OTP sms will come in by the way, message myself from my Singtel and MyRepublic lines sms working fine, but none of the OTP sms you need from services will arrive, spammed resend sms in new facebook account until i got locked out, 4 hours still nothing. Google and Samsung SMS arrive but after an hour...

If you check their hopeless FAQ, it asks u to contact your merchant if you cannot receive OTP from merchants LOL

Tried to sign up for the new number And the web page logs me out and returns me to the home page after I verified MyInfo with SIngPass. Tried with the app with the same result.

Anyone encounter this issue lately during sign up?

I did not verify with SingPass. Just normal fill online application and upload NRIC, select delivery date and pay.
Mine was couriered via ARAMEX - no questions asked.

As for my porting experience, Vivifi $8.80 -> Changi Mobile $8.00
Today received SIM card @ 5PM, immediately insert into phone, then click received in Changi Go app.
11PM-2AM same night ported successfully. Best porting experience.

i didn't realize that changi mobile doesn't have voice/sms roaming to the US after porting in have to swap to another provider again..

are u using their changi mobile # to receive the OTP or u using ur port in # from other telco (which?)?

i very scared to port in my old number. OTP is so important

I just ported in couple of days ago. Was making an online payment this morn with my visa card and had to trigger an sms otp to complete it. The sms otp arrived as per normal on my cellphone.
