are u using their changi mobile # to receive the OTP or u using ur port in # from other telco (which?)?

i very scared to port in my old number. OTP is so important

changi mobile is using M1? last time i ported into M1 to try their 5G, otp also never came in immediately. had to call them and luckily got a friendly agent helped me. got the otp working in 2 days time. something to do with some backend syncing... then i ported out to tpg and no problem receiving otp immediately. i guess it is something to do with M1 system, my guess though.

cuz this changi is new player, no one configure and recognize their number so all changi number will fail the valid phone number data validation stage before u can even request the server to send otp

for those that don't check ur phone number valid or not, then can receive otp

Facebook sms got send to the void. Line also says invalid. Whatsapp sms also not arriving, lucky got call function.

did u ask when the "global OTP database will have your number"? no dates mean wait forever?

Using it as my third line for work, just using that to tell people sorry I cannot access your site cuz sms otp delivery issues, not my dai ji. They can take as long as they want LOL

Emailed them again on my OTP issues, they ask me to contact Facebook and Google to add my number into their databases as a single consumer instead of them contacting the relevant companies to send them the regex for the valid list of new numbers they have.

Also requested them to give me specific instructions to contact Facebook and Google to get it fixed, sent me instructions to a page which no Facebook employee will ever see. For Google, I was given instructions to call a well known scam number for "Google Live Support"

This is getting fun.

Received the SIM card and some OTPs eg Whatsapp, Telegram, took some time to reach me. In the end, the verifications to these apps timed out.

SingPass OTP came timely though. Not sure why some are late and few are ok. Mine is the original number, not port in.

How is the coverage? Any areas or peak hours got no connection? Trying to get this or TPG as main line. If Changi Mobile no issues at all will likely go for it. TPG is too risky for basement or some obscure areas.

Coverage is acceptable for me around the central area. No dropped calls/blind spots. Similar to my previous M1 usage.
