I think ladies are just risk averse. With a little information, I think they may be more interested in investing.

Ya.....around $18k, maybe abit slightly higher.

So, on average ish $1.5k per month lor.

Quite impressive at 6.6% p.a. ROI with invested capital of S$273,000! :)

My invested capital (low risk profile) only achieved an estimated 3.97 - 4.33% p.a. ROI this year.
Short of my 5% target. :(

National Service allowance raised by S$80 across all ranks
The increase applies to all full-time National Servicemen and Operationally Ready National Servicemen in the Singapore Armed Forces, Singapore Police Force and Singapore Civil Defence Force, the Ministry of Defence said.

This year my telcos, REITs & STE cui...:(

But luckily SATS, RMG and SS burst. Dividends also help in the healing. :o

But overall, not a good year...

I am expecting the rate hike to be very gradual. Not too concern about that.

My focus is cash flow, not about 'gaining much'. As long as the underlying assets are generating regular and stable cash (e.g. rental income & data plans), I am satisfied.

I will not waver from my dividend investing strategy just bcos of short-term volatility. Imagine if I strayed away from dividend stocks since the start of rate hike speculation last year, I will not have achieved the amount of dividends I am getting now.

Anyway, I dun have tons of spare cash lying around. Maximum, I can only fire bullets 3 times a year, and that is stretching it already. So, dividend investing over the long-term is suitable for me. ;)

Konichiwa, thinking to add Croesus (CRT) for my Reits. Any opinion from you guys whether worth to add looking at the current yield and prices?

thanks:angel:

Konichiwa! The good thing about CRT is that most of their properties are freehold. Yield is attractive too. However, Japan is a rapidly aging population and retail sector is struggling over there too. There is risk of earthquakes too.

For Japan, the best way to take advantage of its aging population is to invest in the healthcare sector. U can have a look at PLife REIT which has a large number of nursing homes in Japan.

IMO, CMT & FCT will be better choices for retail REITs.

Ya, I agree that healthcare reits is of the sector to look for. PLife Reits looks good but IMO still abit expensive to me :(
