One more thing that I have been thinking about. My 11 pro is hkg set which is physical dual Sim and maybe due to network 4G bands differences is affecting the data. The XS on the other hand is a local Singapore set and thus not encountering data issues. Of course these are just some thoughts running through my mind. No concrete data for now

I'm on M1 eSIM as main and Singtel SIM as backup, got issue this morning too.

No need to reboot the phone, just toggle the Airplane Mode will do.

They decided to use background app refresh instead of asking users to use the low power mode.

Some nation initially like SG, use own way of developing contact tracking app but u-turn and now looking at Apple/Google API and see how to make it into their app. Some nation already have the app that uses this API.

On the other hand when healthy no need to wear mask team now trying to reinvent the wheel to develop physical wearable tag when there is a ready made software API for them to integrate into TraceTogether but they don’t want when Smartphone penetration in Singapore the highest based on survey.

My phone’s COVID-19 Exposure Logging page now no longer shows “not available in your region”. It now states “you cannot turn on Exposure Logging without an authorised app installed that can send Exposure Notifications...”

Running on iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 13.5. My TT app is at 2.0.2.

More countries adopting or switching to Apple/Google contact tracing API.

Finland, Ireland, and Portugal are adopting it; Austria is switching to it; Singapore and Australia are both considering making the change.

Switzerland was the first country to release an app based on the API, with Italy following close behind. Germany, Latvia, and Estonia are doing the same, with only the UK and France having rejected it for now. Germany made a U-turn from its original position.

Even till now they are still only considering...by the time they consider finish, maybe next year already Sometime first to do something is not always good when you wait awhile more you have better choice. Switzerland smart, never create their own way of doing things and instead wait for Apple/Google finalise their API and launch their app.

TraceTogether was the first major Bluetooth contact tracing app.

Think Australia is using it as base for their own app.

doubt it.

they are probably sending data back to MOH which is difficult to do with Apple/Google API's approach which is decenterized solution.

basically they jus dont trust the users.
