Nope, if you check under Settings -> Privacy -> Health -> COVID-19 Exposure Logging. You'll notice that the App is not yet listed there.

Edit : In fact, iOS now says that COVID-19 Exposure Logging is not available in our region.
Wonder what gives.

TraceTogether app updated, but not sure if this version is running in the background. One thing I know is that the app crashed when I go in. Something is wrong. My company made it mandatory, if not, won’t have downloaded this app.

Why mandatory? Even the government doesn’t make it mandatory. Only safeentry is mandatory. You should feedback to your HR.

I assumed that the latest update still not supporting the exposure notification APIs?

It’s weird how TraceTogether started on how tech can help in a way on contact tracing via Bluetooth which got the world’s attention, but no news of whether it is gonna use the Exposure Notification API.
While it's not leveraging on the API.
It's most likely using background app refresh to err... collect and broadcast tokens periodically.

Which I believe isn't the most ideal way la.

It's almost so similar to how SimplyGo is being operated.
Allows Apple Pay, but nope. No express transit.

Ok may be a one off but any one’s 4G giving problems? Starhub user here. Had so much issues with safe entry cos the website wouldn’t load. Even tried using singpass app but also cant.

Had to shut off phone & on again. Then it was ok & i could check in. Then went to another place & same problem. 4G was dead. Even yahoo mail app couldnt load any mail. Off & on phone again then ok.

Which telco are you using? I'm on M1 on my 11 pro and same data issues. Need to reboot to get data. On the xs however it is on Singtel. No such issues. Both on ios 13.5.1

I just realised when u turn phone upside down, Trace Together app no longer shows that battery saving screen.

So did they finally get it to work in the background? Or is it consuming more battery than ever with no dark screen?

I have not tried if it’s gonna consume more battery in the background when it’s in dark screen. But I think it will consume just as the same, especially for non OLED devices.

Are we not gonna see TraceTogether leveraging on the API anymore? :s8:

They decided to use background app refresh instead of asking users to use the low power mode.

Seriously.. the big players had already worked together and come up with a unified solution but yet our Govt thinks it is not working well and want to come up with yet another device? 🤦🏻*♂️

I'm on M1 eSIM as main and Singtel SIM as backup, got issue this morning too.

No need to reboot the phone, just toggle the Airplane Mode will do.
