We buying for own stay, so we feel accessibility to transport/ groceries more important.

yes. everyday still got at least 1 person take up the unit....if count like that, tink before q number 100, all unit will be taken up...but i very open minded, this time cannot then next time lor

I am ok with any unit, as Long as there is one. But 32 units left n 75 ppl in front of mi, I think is very slim. Today see Bendemeer light all taken out, think very fast will be Kallang trivista turn...

But surprisingly trivista the low floors still available till now... Not sure if there's any particular reason.. Cos the location seems to be the best

we hv sorted out a new ideal units few days ago and went site visit on PH. Was v worried last 2 days tat whether other PP w take.

Keep checking today since 9 am till 1 pm. Heng no taker. Now waiting to go in. Good luck to u.

Quick question that I only now thought of. Can we tell HDB/CPF how much to deduct from each account for those married couple??

Hi! I am new here and also taken part in this SBF, been reading this thread. Our queue no is quite behind and I don't think we have much chances. Just wondering if there's a SBF in Nov and if BL / MT will have any more balance units again? We would prefer these two areas as near parents.

u 1st timer or second timer? if nov sbf u r still 1st timer u can try. sure got bl n mt, but tink only left few units. so must reali get a good number.if u 2nd timer, no need try.

I see. We are 1st timer, but we probably not able to choose anything as our date of selection is way behind.

FYI, 5 room Punggol for next week only have selection on 16th Oct 17.

There will be no selection for the rest of the week and selection will continues from 23rd Oct 17.

how many will be choosing on 23rd?

Sorry for my late reply, cos after selection of flat , become v excited, go celebration, go SML temple pray, go buy 4D, and also test free ride of DTL.

Thank you to Guan Yin Po Pi and for all the well wishes we receive from u all here, this is the first time we applied for new flat, even though our number is 5X, after about 30% give up rate, we still manage to get our choice units.

Usually got 1 no show per day, yet the days before us, suddenly everyone decide to turn up, make us sweat alot.

And those units that we initially wanted are taken up by pp, or after the a more detail site visit, we then realised that what we thought good at first does not really stay true cos either the unit number is funny, the distance from the MRT when u actually walk vs map measuring, the neighbour who got joss paper bin at the corridor, the window that pp can look in from the corridor, the window tat look out to a wall, the lift, the noise, the stuffy corridor etc.

Of cos, oso alot of quarrels btw me n hubby cos we each got different view of choice units and their ranking.

So dun give up hope until its really your turn, cos you dun noe what those before you are thinking, they may have another preference.

Some ask me which unit / blk we choose, sorry that we cannot give more information, but can say that is near Boon Keng MRT.

Now we waiting for bank loan to approve.

One good thing that has happened is that we teo 4D becos of the new house number. Even though only win $60, we really feel v happy and heng !

During our first appointment, the officer only confirm w us that we are taking bank loan. She did not ask us whether how we want to apportion the use of our CPF for the downpayment of the SBF.

Cos even though both of us got CPF, but we prefer to use part cash for the down payment. Do we wait until the bank loan is finalized before telling HDB or only inform them at the 2nd appointment?

For private loans, you should be using a private lawyer to handle your purchase. The law firm that is acting for you will handle your stamp duty, bank loan and CPF withdrawal.

The law firm will confirm the desired amounts that you wish to withdraw from the CPF based on “Purchase price less Bank loan”. You are required to pay at least 5% of the down payment in cash; thereafter you are allowed to withdraw cpf for the remaining amount.

Yes but the net HDB loan will be after clearing out the CPF amounts in both parties.
