Anyone know, where can I check the floor flat of the SOBF.

Erm, think only can see floor finishes when you are invited to select a flat? It's actually in the price list that will be provided to successful applicants.

Wah, Yishun 5rm already almost over-subscribed. Anyway how does the first-timer and second-timer works exactly. For the 25 units, assume 25 are first-timers and another 10 are second-timers, will all 25 first-timers get to select?

Or a second-time with MCPS could get to select ahead of someone among the 25.

I am quite surprised by some of the price difference in the same block. 246k for 4th floor and 301k for 13th floor......

wonder how the pricing are done.

Hi.. any bros able to answer ny queries?

I have a friend who is working presently but his gf is not working. Any idea how does this work? If HDB eg. grant him 200k for HLE. Even if the flat eg. is 500k and his cpf eg. have 100k, they will still let him apply even though single income and hle + cpf doesnt hit the flat price right? They will reassess again upon keys collection?

Then what if after keys collection, 1 party becomes jobless. then how? As long as they can pay is fine that they still get the house?

The grant is given at agreement time right and not based on the income of keys collection?

Also, a personal question for myself. I have tried bto twice and balance flat once, all failed. Any possibilities of me appealing using my banquet invoices and contract? getting married mid next year and trying for SBF Nov 16.

Thanks alot

What kind of zeebai 1970 tactic to use 'my friend....'

Just say yours or gpgt your friend laaa

1. Have to top up difference with pure hard cash. I think can negotiate but not when the amount involved is $200k la. Be reasonable also. I believe HDB will reject your friends case cos no point they grant but have to repossess your flat later due to non payment. That's how completed flats end up at SOBF.

2. Make use of the priority scheme. You can try go MP but they will either tell you to try again or have HDB assess and give you 2nd floor face rubbish chute unit beside staircase at some ulu non matured estate without bus or mrt.

"Eligible first-timer singles aged 35 or above can buy 2-room Flexi flat in the non-mature estates on 99-year lease."

Previously singles cannot buy sobf?

depends on the estate that you are applying for (i.e. "A" in mature estate), otherwise i think... probably will not be possible.. :s13:
