Ps, anybody paid the deposit to Qisahn yet? Went to pay to their previous bank account. Overlook that they updated their bank. 🤦🏻*♂️

Reddit got people say the previous price put up by Qishan is as following:

Qishan website is update. Selling at $599 and $749.

Not sure is that the real retail price...

I am worried that Horizon sequel is appearing on PS4, so the game is not really a technical showcase for PS5 (aside from 4K(maybe 60?) + Ray Tracing + whatever tech)

other than that, only GT7 shows potentials what PS5 can do~

I believe usually PS5 version will have some exclusive "enhanced" feature to entice people to upgrade like those titles released during PS3->PS4 period.

The 825GB built-in SSD is the weak link. After deducting drive space for system OS, how much is left? If next-gen games with higher space requirements eat up 100GB on average, there really isn't much space. Unless you keep deleting games to save storage.

In the end, most owners will still have to add in their own secondary SSD. This will up the additional cost between $150-$200, assuming it's a 1TB SSD.

The problem with the digital edition is there is no resale opportunity for used games unlike the physical disc edition.

It will be huge joke if most next-gen console games are locked to 30fps because the developers chose to prioritize cinematic graphics over frame rates, and don't give owners the choice to choose.

how is this a problem? with sg internet and the fast ssd, u can basically keep a few games that u want to play in the ssd and delete/install new ones when u get bored.

Of coz the cheaper the better .. :s13: Not to mention usually when getting the console will have to add on the games and accessories etc. easily add on a couple of hundreds more.. :s22:

I called Sony Store earlier today. They said that preorder is not yet open. But for those interested, can leave your name & contact details. They'll notify once preorder begin.

Upon hearing that, I tried going to my nearest game retail store to check if they taking preorder. Fortunately, they do. So I proceed to place deposit & completed the PS5 preorder.

The guy told me for first batch, the store will order around 50 consoles for launch day 19 November. (These are confirmed stocks). I'm number 40+ on the list. Deposit is required $$$.

For customers whose name are 50+ onwards on the list, might have to wait for 2nd batch arriving in December/January.

I also ask him, out of 40+ orders so far, how many people order PS5 Digital Edition? He say nobody at all. Zero. Everyone order PS5 disc version haha

not surprised nobody wants the digital edition, considering the games will potentially be in the $90+ region. :(

Called Sony at Wisma, they don't have official pre-orders open yet, but they took down my name + HP so that they can give me more details later.

Based on previous experience with them, they are quite diligent about calling back to inform about pre-orders.

I also went to a game shop. I just tried if i can PO and place deposit. He told me that they’re not accepting preorders yet but since i really want to secure my PS5 disc version, the guy accepted my deposit. Saved my name and contact number into their laptop (system) and printed me a receipt.

Should I feel better now bros? I didn’t ask how many consoles they will have on launch day and what’s my queue number on the preorder list 😑

For me, I still want to play some of my PS4 games which are on disc, so that is a factor.

Another factor perhaps is that there are pretty good discounts on digital titles if you are patient enough. With the limited amount of time to play, that works out, because you buy only those high-priority games at full price, then for everything else you wait until it's more affordable.
