Budget gao gao and want every HDMI 2.1 features = LG CX 55
Budget not gao but still want 4k/120Hz = Sony X9000H

LG 55" CX should be around $2399 during sales. Even cheaper if you know who to approach. Get a display set is fine too. As long as either unusued or low usage. End up, you will still get your 3 years warranty by LG. So no issues.
Sony 55" X900H is around $1999 based on Courts official pricing. But take note of the current chipset limitation that Sony says a fix should be coming by 31 December 2020. Because when you play at 4K 120Hz, it is actually downsampling the video quality to 1080p 120Hz. The reason was chipset too weak to process 4K at 120Hz. But Sony promises it can be fixed. So we'll see.
What you should look for in your TVs are HDMI 2.1 ports on the TVs as this means that you can use the TVs for the entire next gen of TVs with HDMI 2.1.
TVs like Prism+ and HDMI 2.0 meaning 4K 60Hz TVs has reached its end of life period. So you can buy it now, but you might have to upgrade your TV way sooner than if you were to just buy a HDMI 2.1 TV to begin with.
On the topic of Prism+, an easier way to make you understand how underwhelming this TV is, it is as if you are buying a very old 4K TV when it just came out. So it's like owning a 4K TV from before 2016 before HDR even launched.
That explains its very low pricing and lack of HDR pop due to it having very low SDR-based brightness level.
So if you want a pre-2016 TV, you can look at the Prism+ sets. In order to even get HDR, your LCD-based TVs should at least have Full-Array Local Dimming (FALD). Else, it cannot be considered as HDR. The Sony X900H has FALD. But even if you have it, it cannot achieve perfect dark scenes. Only OLED can. But for those who wants 'good enough', the Sony X900H is that starting line to fully enjoy next gen gaming experience.
Get a budget 4K TV with hdr is good enuf.
60hz refresh rate is sufficient.
TV spolit, no heart pain.******************
Secondly, PS5 only can output 4K 30fps with Ray Tracing On.
120fps is impossible.
That is where 4K 120Hz TVs with VRR support comes in.
4K 30fps feels like a way higher fps thanks to the smoothness of VRR. That is why VRR is critical. No more tearing too along with lower input lag than with V-Sync.
So you get to enjoy the highest fidelity with ray tracing while experiencing the smoothness of high framerate gameplay thanks to VRR. But since the PS5 doesn't have the firmware update that enables VRR, you can wait till next year's new TV models so you'll get even more TVs to choose from that supports VRR and has HDMI 2.1 to enjoy your next gen PS5s. Hopefully by then, the PS5 will have VRR enabled too.
