$5 more and 1 YEAR CONTRACT , how Singtel can be better ?
I don't mind the $5 more but contract is crazy.

I have other plans in place, don't want to be locked for a year .

I was with Singtel for decades , yes good but not value for money. One day may use Singtel again for sure.

i am using it and will stick with SingTel sim only

if you are ok to be in 1 year contract, quite ok but make sure you have free caller ID.

Starhub in the west and north is way better than M1.

Other areas are mixed depending on locations. But overall still better than M1 in my personal opinion.

how is their 4G coverage and data stability? Need to do airplane mode ON/OFF to get back data when no access with full signal strength?

According to a certain "RED is the BEST" and "RED is the Clear Winner" supporter, any telco that is not "RED" is airplane mode Telco.

My personal experience, I never had any "airplane" mode throughout my StarHub use, nor for any other MNO Main telcos (StarHub, M1 and Singtel) as well. However, i feel that StarHub 4G speeds is dropping, no longer as fast as back in 2019 and 2020 #hellochange era where they keep promoting that they are the fastest telco.

However, everything else still works. As long as you're not going around doing speedtest and start comparing why other telco has faster speeds.

Your experience may vary, depending on your location as well.

Hi is there a starhub representative in this forum?
I want to ask about easygo & SIM Only plan I saw on your site.

I'm wondering if I sign up and grab an iphone 13 (with easygo installment 12months) + SIM Only cheapest option.

Means I will pay the phone in installment + $20/month for the sim...
Since the SIM plan is no contract, does it means I can cancel my SIM plan and continue to pay the phone?

Is there any hidden charges I'm not aware of?

Thank you.
Hey I also thought easy go is a good deal. You know anything?

Ok I went down to StarHub to talk face to face to get clarity.

easy go sim only plan is an awesome stuff. StarHub basically let you take the phone at zero dollars and pay by monthly instalment up to 24 months. No additional interest or catch. anytime you wanna cut off from StarHub , just need to pay the balanace amount. Simple as that.

The cheapest plan is $20 (25.35 with caller id). The requirement is that you atleast sign one year contract for this plan so that StarHub can let you take the iphone at easy go deal.

If you buy iphone 14pro (24 months easy go) your monthly charges would be $67 for the phone installment. $25 for Mobile plan. This two are kinda not interlinked.

after the one year contract, you decide to Ditch StarHub , just need to pay up the balance $830 for the phone. Very simple and straightforward. The lock in period is only 1 year for the contract so I think it’s a very reasonable deal

also presently StarHub offer $50 discount for the iphone 14. Probably higher discount for other lousy phones like Samsung.

Since I was kinda unhappy with StarHub a bit, I did a bit of research and almost went to sign up m1 $17.95 sim only plan. And the zeebai m1 also charge caller id separately. North south east west StarHub seem to be best.

I think sim only and easy go plans will be the most popular for the regular people. Thet traditional plan and cis deals will be for those using corporate lobang

I personally do not find it a "reasonable" deal unless for the installment. One can get the cheapest SIM only plan and buy the mobile phone elsewhere which may be slightly cheaper than the retail price from Starhub.
