i duno if anyone notice. after the new updates, the battery life like drain abit....
usually i plug out at 1am... at 7plus it will still be 100%. now it is like 98 or 99%.

or maybe my battery life is declining?

Hi guys,

I got my whatsapp last time when it was free. Just updated it to the lastest 2.6.2 but I don't get the group chat feature. I don't even have the funtion to broadcast. Weird?

Tired reinstalling the app, restarting, etc, doesn't help.

Anyone can shed some light on this?

Last week I was in Thailand and used a Thai sim in my iphone. I realized I was getting whatsapp messages even tho the phone number was different. I thought whatsapp is tied to phone number? Or is it not?

Iphone 4 with orignal singtel plan and the other my old iphone 2 with 3g pre-paid singtel card.

but the setting must be the same, ie THE SAME NUMBER to install

I am on Singtel Multi-Sim, can only work with one phone. In other words, message will only be sent to the authenticated phone.

its impossible to have whatsapp to work on 2 different phones with the same number via multi sim. tried and tested, doesn't work.

I Just tested, only 1 will receive.

in order for Whatsapp to work or register, it requires a valid mobile no. and there is no more than 1 SIM is allowed to work at the same time (except only outgoing).

those with multi SIM can NEVER has 2 or more mobile phones ring at the same time.

i need some help here. i just got my iphone stolen in Malaysia and it wasn't locked when it was stolen. Hopefully the bugger would put the phone to lock mode without any knowledge. but just in case he/she didn't, I just want to check on the whatsapp accessibility. I will be getting a new iphone tomorrow with the same number, so now when I get the new iphone with the whatsapp (same telephone number), will my future messages be sent to my old phone's whats app? I have blocked the sim card. but to my knowledge, whatsapp work on wifi/data transfer, so blocking my would make no difference to it wouldn't it? correct me if i am wrong. Guys/Gals, i really need your advise here.. will my future messages be received by my lost phone account? or will it be blocked once i activate it on my new set?

I thought whatsapp is only looking at the number you key in? Not based on the number tie to your SIM card?

provided he managed to break your lockscreen password..? else he won't be able to see i guess.. anyway i guess the person would rather restore the phone as new and use it rather than digging in the contents of the phone.. unless you're someone rich & famous.. personal point of view..
