just got my OP8 (not pro version) been using for 1 weeks+
exceed expectation for me for battery performance. one full charge last me 3 days plus, maybe i am not heavy user but i did use it to watch movie still.

display is superb with this 90hz refresh rate. can't tell much if 120hz (i suppose)
overall, super like OP8. glad that i bought it

Ya, seems like most stores are expecting to restock late this week or next week.



Been looking around for Pro 256/12 and prices are pretty much the same as before if not more ex. As of this week most places are selling $1258-1280 for exports and local still the same 1384 on Lazada.

Don’t expect price drop as the OP8 has just been released. Probably price drop only happens when it’s not selling well or next when next model is coming soon. The current price of the OP7 series also barely drop even till now.

Beside that, I thought still need to *#800# and *#801# enable serial port to turn on VoLTE manually or use the TPG call app in order to make call as for some weird reason OnePlus didn’t enable VoLTE for Singapore carriers.

Volte is volte. Dont mix up bro

Volte is to ensure that calls can be made using 4g/lte without dropping to 3g when you are on a phone call. It also ensure better call quality as 4g/lte is faster then 3g, so can have a higher bitrate to be transferred.

TPG sim should be able to work even without activating volte. Just need add apn if it does not auto detect

Even though i have enabled the “Smart Content Detection” option in the Camera app, i realized it is not detecting any QR codes

I use Google lens or set your unlock shortcut to use Google lens to scan the code.

yes abit disappointing cannot use on public transport.
Can work for retail, PayWave though.
Other then that it's still a great phone.
