At least 6 time le.. I went 3 places haha.. don't see any benefit need to be on aa rom I guess I probably stick with ba since it WORKS!

Sorry, am I noob here. Able to guide me to how to flash the rom without wiping data to resolve the GPay issue? I tried reading the past posts, but there's no much details.

Tried to downgrade from 10.5.12.IN11AA to 10.5.10
.IN11AA using msmdownloadtool, gpay not work on taking bus. Then upgraded to 10.5.12.IN11AA via full update ROM, gpay not work either.

fastest way is get android 11 Dp3 install through local upgrade... den restore back to android 10 by getting EU rom via local upgrade (this will wipe device)

That is what I did, just flashing using msmdownload tool is not enough..(my previous attempt)

I also successfully used Gpay on MRT and Bus past few days at least 10 tap in/out no issue.

Initially reading the thread didn't expect much but pleasantly surprised that so far no issues at all.

Those who got issue with gpay just install Android 11 dp3 then back to stable rom. It just 1 time effort

1. Download Android 11 Developer Beta from:
Oneplus 8 -

2. Downgrade to Stable release:

Oneplus 8 -

Steps to flash in between builds:
1. Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
2. Copy the Rollback package to the phone storage. (Skip this step if you download directly on your phone)
3. Go to Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Click top right icon -> Local upgrade -> Click on the corresponding installation package -> Upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
4. After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
5. Update successful.

After downgrading, i will recommend to boot to recovery mode to wipe cache:
1. Press Vol Down + Power Button
2. Wipe Data and Cache
3. Wipe cache
4. Wipe data




NOTE: DATA WILL BE WIPED AFTER DOING THE DOWNGRADE. PLEASE ENSURE YOU BACKED UP YOUR DATA BEFORE DOING THE ABOVE
