Will data be wiped?

It just 1 time effort. It solve the nfc gpay transport issue. Tested.

So to keep things simple:
1. Download Android 11 Developer Beta from:
Oneplus 8 - https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OnePlus8Oxygen_15_OTA_0030_all_2008081530_4dc587d23b294492.zip
Oneplus 8 Pro - https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OnePlus8ProOxygen_15_OTA_0030_all_2008081530_9a9db011689d490a.zip

2. Downgrade to Stable release:
Oneplus 8 - https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OnePlu...all_2007160040_downgrade_44ff527388f24f3c.zip
Oneplus 8 Pro - https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OnePlu...all_2007160041_downgrade_9d5b29a0d9834b5d.zip

Steps to flash in between builds:
1. Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
2. Copy the Rollback package to the phone storage. (Skip this step if you download directly on your phone)
3. Go to Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Click top right icon -> Local upgrade -> Click on the corresponding installation package -> Upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
4. After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
5. Update successful.

To add on, after downgrading, i will recommend to boot to recovery mode by pressing vol down and power button. Then wipe cache and reboot phone

Updated to the first zip of your post already. Now I just update again with the 2nd link zip only right?

oh btw i noticed the volte is enabled in oxygen 11. will it be the same when it's officially out?

I thought someone said the gpay is disabled on 11? Mine is there. Has anyone else tried gpay on 11?

Upgrade wont erase settings bro unless u factory reset. If u downgrade, by right it will auto factory reset so volte will be gone

And yes, update to 2nd link zip, then do a clear cache

I did not try gpay on android 11 at all though

Ya I know. I haven’t done the “downgrade” yet. But I didn’t have the volte before I upgrade so I wonder why this time round it auto activated the volte without me needing to do those extra manual steps.

Btw just realised your 2nd link is BA version. Maybe can include the 3 different versions in the guide so ppl can choose their preferred version (NA/IN/EU)?

It a dp3 so if u stay on that you will not received update in future

don’t put too much hope on volte, it works due to this is still pre release software and basically ‘dirty’ flash on top of your current settings.

Oh dear last night there is gplay system update and after I update it I no longer able to pay by just power on the device for mrt

I need to unlock the phone although still instance but not the same

Is there a setting to restore pay without unlocking ?

Dunno why. Now I can't use my gpay. Keep failing even paying stuff not just on transport.

If can just use from lockscreen isn't it very unsecure?
