Yes all along need unlock then use. Only Samsung pay dun need unlock

Which is how I did it Friday taking trip 3 time tap in and out without unlocking my screen.. now it stop responding and only work when I unlock the phone, worse is on my last tap out old problem occurs again.. tap and show error.. and work after few tries.. home this is one off otherwise is back to square one

ya payment still works just need to screen unlock instead. don't think have any options for this, I was on a chat with gpay support..they are looking into this, better not another bug on OnePlus end

Edit: played around with settings in ‘screen lock’ was using face unlock disable it or ‘power button instantly locks’ on/off test, either one helps on the lock screen unlock.

this is not a confirm full fix for local set suggest either wait for 8t or wait till the next ota to see if those whom flashed to verify if the prob will return.. next ota around the corner according to op forum.
