OYK was the best MOE ever and he is the only one who did something to PSLE tscore, primary school exams, and secondary school education to ease meaningless paper chase.

Now his focus is covid, travel and aviation . Again you can see he has ideas and he executes them, not talk only.

Frankly since khaw, the government has given enough support and resources to the train operators to right their ship. If still can’t resolve then maybe they need to be replaced by FT

Ms Saw was FT and the root cause to MRT mess today. Enough of FTs.

Why power trip cannot just flip back the switch like our home like tat? Or worse, no backup system or contingency plan to restore power in the shortest possible time?

this one think the power KV should be quite high

This narrative is rubbish. We have more breakdowns after piak or whatever her name is stepped down. Not to mention we pumped in all sorts of investments into upgrading new systems and trains. Maybe she did well all those years running the organisation despite not having the resources and investments.

Hello, system degrades over time. Not magically when someone taking helm the system gets better. It's like your body, don't take care of it today you only see problem when you're old.

"Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident was caused by a "faulty power cable", the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said in a Facebook post at 10.38pm, when all train services resumed."

Is "failure of a high voltage cable" = "faulty power cable"?

Should be HV cable fault ba.. Can't be LV failure that cause this ma

They should have used the rare opportunity of very low ridership during ** to do any checking or maintenance work
