Hi,

Need advice from F5 / F5 Pro users.

With the upcoming F6 / F6 Pro (Rumor = F6: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 while Pro: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2), is it recommended to wait and get F6 series? Or get the F5 series when their prices reduced and open for sale again? e.g, Price of F5 (12+256) = F6 (8+256)

The recent leak image of F6's design (via the image of Redmi Turbo 3) look subpar when compared to F5.

Will the price difference (of estimated $150 to $200) between F6 and F5, justify the performance / efficiency difference between both series?

Plan to get a phone from this series for gaming, web & social media browsing, and online shopping. How's the F5 series? Is it worth to get?

Just got a set of F5 for my OC.
The battery doesn't last long comparing to her old F3.. half a day 50% gone with same usage...any idea why is it?

sometimes need a few days to stabilise

if already past the first week, maybe a rogue app is causing high battery usage, can check battery stats to research further

Take into consideration of the remaining years of support/updates for an older model. Not worth it I feel.

Just get the x6 pro if u want to cut cost. Expect a price hike for poco f6 when x6 pro is already priced at 4xx. My guess will be high 4xx to 5xx on higher variant of poco f6

I was so glad to have bought my F5 for around $360+. Just suddenly feel that their phone prices have increased significantly and now no longer expectedly cheap. Might consider other brands in future.

usually buy when there is good promo/sale/pre launch with free gifts then more worth it. otherwise their budget/poco range is still bang for buck compared to their Mi premium series. just need to buy at the right price. they are trying to rebrand themselves to be the same lvl as the premium brands thus the pricing for the Mi series. I ve since skipped their 13series and 14 series as I find more value in other brands in the similar price brackets.

Or they tio burn by poco f4, so many stocks for very long haha. Maybe now they bring lesser liao.
Likely too thus the fast OOS, believe it was only 6 months or lesser and all went out.

Moi want to help them clear but they don't want to lower it enough haha end up moi just buy f5.
But if F6 increases price considerably, then no point liao. 🤡
