The stock case really adds to the thickness. Took out the casing after a few days of use, and it really feels different :s13:

No ads so far, when you set up the phone on first booting, you have to turn off the ads personalisation option.

If you miss that step, you have to re set up again to prevent ads

Can try those bumper case only cover sides no back. :s13:
The OS ads on POCO bearable?
Uh, depends on your definition. Too irritating for me, I've encountered FULL SCREEN ADS while using some of the Xiaomi apps, app installation also got ads, if you download premium themes using their store also full screen non-skippable video ads but you can just don't use it.

Can remove ads per app but it's PER APP so have to do it individually.

Otherwise, very easy to debloat almost all Xiaomi apps but might break some stuff. I only encountered some minor bugs after doing it.

Mountain turtle here, how to use NFC Payment ar? I already added Mastercard to Google Pay. During payment I need to open/unlock Google Pay, click the ))) icon and just hold to reader right?
Can also use for ezlink as well?

I actually never downloaded google pay app. I simply tapped the phone against the bus ezlink reader and google pay automatically popped up asking me to link my credit card which I then did.

After which, as long as my phone is unlocked, tapping against a reader automatically triggers NFC and google pay. I suspect its just linked straight to your google account which I had set up under "Accounts".

Tried using it at a restaurant too with no issues.
