Same here actually. I was able to use google pay. But I was never able to find the "App" itself.

I hear the global version is not available for download on the app store. How did you download it, may I ask?
I was only able to find the Singapore version on it.

When I tap my card, it auto prompted google pay. I suspect it accessed google pay through chrome/webbrowser?

What's the cheapest price someone gotten this model for? I think it was $285 at launch right? Can't remember was it the 64 or 128 model and Thru which platform?

I bought this phone for my kids.

Any case to recommend?

I ordered a flip case with lanyard hole. It can protect the phone when my kids put it in their school bags. The lanyard hole is also useful for me to attach neck lanyards.

But I realised one weakness. The side wall is flushed with the screen. If drop face down, gone case.

The supplied phone case looks sturdy, and most importantly, the side wall is taller than the screen, so if drop face down, the screen will be protected.

I have replaced the supplied screen protector with glass protector.

I am thinking of buying finger rings to paste on the supplied case and tie lanyard to it. But there is no flip cover to protect the phone inside their school bags.

Any suggestion or recommendation for rugged case?
