It's just a thin plastic one, if you poke hole in it, a bubble will quickly form.

the case that the one comes with is probably as thin as it comes, the few third party case I have are twice as thick as the original

I really do like the macro camera, great at getting close up shot of screen pixels and solder joins, I got another lens that I can use with it for a even larger shot.

For what? Already on global rom liao ma...

If u are flashing, don't lock your bootloader on EEA rom, else you can say bye bye to your phone

Also, safety net won't pass as long as bootloader is unlocked. Miui devs didn't tweak the rom for safety net pass after bootloader unlock

Just a dirt cheap (less than $3) x60 microscope type that you can find pretty much everywhere for my last phone which doesn't even have a macro camera, so that I could at least take macro shot with the single main camera

With the micro camera, I can get about a 2x more zoom which is already way more than enough in most cases

to use the macro properly i found that u really need to use the pro mode and change focus yourself.
