By payment do you include transport as well? The phone i have that i use for payment is Poco F2 Pro. I dunno if it's working on my X3 NFC cos they only allow Gpay activation on one phone and i'm not about to switch it out to test then switch back and find out cannot work![]()
wah, this outbreak is quite random... some already stop working last week, some this week...Does anyone here find away to makw Gpay working on transport? Mine was suddenly not working this morning. Yesterday was still perfectly fine.

Damn...Yup. Nothing changes for me after the update. Mine is EU rom though.
Did this also. It doesn't help.I did what others suggested here, clear data for both Google Play Services and GPay app, re-add the card but I tried this morning, it still can't work. Still not sure what's the issue.

ok, mine is working, at least, for today. my version is global 12.2.5...wah, this outbreak is quite random... some already stop working last week, some this week...
will test mine tomorrow when going out...
Mine doen't have this message when it stopped working really out of a sudden...ok, mine is working, at least, for today. my version is global 12.2.5...
my observation, for those who have this message when gpay is opened “please disabled apps with screen overlay function” will likely be hit by this outbreak.
my wife’s mi 9, on android 10, was still working last saturday, but no more today, after she starts having the above message...
just like covid19, its random and can hit anyone, anytime...![]()
exactly what my wife said whole day today... lolMine doen't have this message when it stopped working really out of a sudden...
Now have to take wallet out jin mafan

my wife tried disabling all the apps which may cause the overlay msg, still doesnt work.Disable all those apps with screen overlays and try? But i need to say for my case, i didn't have to do anything since everything is working fine.
Yeah same as mine.
Wait a minute....didn't you guys say your updated latest was MIUI 12.2.6.0 RJKEUXM?
I seem to remember mine was that number too but now i check it's 12.2.5.0 though the update description is exactly the same as 12.2.6.0

i didnt get to update to 12.2.6 cos it appears 1 day, and then disappeared the next, before i update...
anyway, does any of you have both the old and new gpay apps in your phone?
mine have both coexisting...
and you dont experience problem taking public transport ?the phone made the old Google Pay a system app so cannot remove. my old Note 8 Pro can remove the old Google Pay and just use the new GPay.

But now it still showing the 1.2.2.5 number only but update log is the latest
Yeah mine still have both.
turn off auto update?I have managed to make Gpay to work again on Bus/Mrt gantry.
Uninstall update of Google play services, and block Google play store from accessing mobile data.
Then Gpay will work again.
However, when I came home, Playstore connected to wifi, and Google play services auto update itself. The Gpay issue comes back.
So, This issue comes from the latest update of Google play services.
