Managed to get it working again.
Not sure which exactly that made it work.

But here's what I did.
1) Uninstall google play service.
2) clear cache
3) uninstall GPay
4) clear cache for the original google pay app.
5) install GPay again.
6) had to reverify all the cards

It was working as of yesterday. Mine EU rom so not yet. Seems i was mistaken mine was supposed to be 12.2.6 but i could have sworn that was the number i saw before. Let me know once you tested it haha. Since 12.2.6 doesn't seem to bring much to the table, i'll hold off a bit until i have to update.
ok miui 12.2.6 global, with google play services 21.15.15 working for public transport.

Many of the xiaomi phones already received MIUI 12.5 global stable but just not POCO F2 Pro. So much for a flat screen flagship for 2020...

I thought those are the new ones and the older Mi flagships only. All my 2020 Xiaomi phones don't have them yet. My Poco X3 NFC only just get Android 11 yesterday.

No. Mi Note 10 Lite, Mi 10 Lite and Mi 9 SE have received MIUI 12.5 update.

Xiaomi released too many models just like Samsung used to do. And now hard times pushing latest updates to all models. Poco seems to have the least attentions when comes to updates.
