My mother has been using this as her backup drive for a few years and it has been reliable. Not sure about their smaller ext hard drives though.

Ooo thx . Will be going on the 17th

The asus UX310 has the gtx 940MX instead of the gtx 930MX on the Hp, which will allow u to do more graphics intensive stuff(higher game settings).
As for the diff between 3200x1800 and full hd, honestly at 13-14 inch screen size it should not be too different to the naked eye.
But I still think u should go down to the roadshow and look at the laptops in person and make a decision based on what u feel. That way u will have min regret instead of making decision now then regret later.

Actually if you are already enrolled, with your student number etc you can purchase it online

www.asiapac.com.sg/rp <-change rp to your respective poly to see the pricelist, there are 2 different pricelist

VivoCity has Best Denki (I think) atrium sales. Saw one with similar-ish specs but with 1050 Ti @ $2300+, if I am not mistaken...

That should be the GL553 with 1080 Ti

Edit: I meant 1050 Ti not 1080 Ti
