Does yosemite solves the systemstats problem ?

In Mavericks, the infamous systemstats process is running in background.
The temp of cpu shot to 70+ deg sia.

Anyone facing this problem in mavericks ?

i have everything checked in the preferences for spotlight but searches are still limited to what i have on disk, it doesn't search on the internet and itunes. for eg. i type in "yosemite" it only shows documents with that word in it, it doesn't show up with wikipedia, google..etc

Is it just me or that my 15" Macbook ProR, late 2013 charges from 44% to 100% in just 1 hour?
And yes, I'm concurrently using Safari and listening to iTunes while charging.

I do notice that the battery does indeed drain faster before charging it .

I'm not sure how much disk space you must have left. But the download file just over 5GB only.

I found yosemite quite smooth on my MBA but the start up time is now longer with a loading bar. Is that normal?

perhaps u did not have enough space to download the huge file?

If not, you might need to clear the caches in the temporary folder.

i also having this problem? how to clear the caches? i still have about 132 gb available left...

For those facing this issue.
Make sure that you are not behind a public DNS (like Google's).

(Or alternatively, if you're not behind Google's DNS give this a try http://deluxeforums.hardwarezone.com.sg/89300039-post40.html)

Sign out of your App Store.
Reboot
Attempt to download again.

For those who upgrade SSD, the trim currently not working or have to disable the kext signing. (A kext is a kernel extension, or a driver, in Mac OS X). Temporary I not enable the trim for my mid2012 samsung SSD.

I was prompted by the system that Trim Enabler is incompatible with Yosemite.

How? Will my SSD speed degrade badly?

for those that have longer boot, do you have filevault enable? If yes try disabling.

So far Trim Enabler is the one that can be enable trim for yosemite. Degrade will not be so bad as what people might sound if disable. We just have to wait for a while.

How to resolve the public DNS?

For those whole have problem downloading, should have redirect your DNS to google either 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 for both singtel and m1. I notice downloading to be very fast, even during my beta download.
My customer took 30min to download 5GBplus that encounter those download broke issue.
