Hi all, looking to get a printer to print mainly text documents. Student here so looking for a printer that is economical especially for ink consumption and price.
Some requirements:
1) Decent to good print quality of text as i'll be mostly printing lots of notes and articles.
2) Black and white should be sufficient but colours are welcome if price is acceptable.
3) I will be printing double sides so duplex is a plus point but don't mind manually flipping pages to print duplex if duplex machines are too expensive.
3) Wireless is a must. Although don't need Airprint or google cloud print as will be printing from laptop.
4) Ink refills should be affordable for a student. Good amount of print per cartridge.
After doing some searching online, I came across EPSON L355 which fits most of my criteria especially the ink tanks and $9.90 per ink bottle, up to 4000 pages per black ink refills. But my concern is the printout quality(sharpness) of the text as I would be printing rather small fonts, i believe its an inkjet printer and read some reviews that the text are not sharp. Slightly exceeds my budget of below $300 too.
Any feedback and recommendations for other printers or L355 are welcome!
Dont buy L series bad for text printing. For notes printing, go for laser printer.
Fuji Xerox P265dw $179 plus $30 vouchers or
Brother L2365dw $168 plus $20 vouchers
does every printer need such settings for window 10~?
