Is it normal for other brands don't cover burn-in in their warranty? as i have checked with Prism warranty. it doesn't.....

  1. Screen Burn-In is not covered as it is classified as user-induced damage (such as keeping the TV on extended duration with static images being displayed as it is recommended to keep the screen off or on screen-saver when the Purchaser is not using it).

Can you share why do you think their prices are unbelievable?
Hi, we just bought a Prism+ 75" LCD end of April this year and have regret doing so. From the moment we started using the unit to watch Prime TV it shows a foot-wide vertical line on the top screen. We reported it immediately to Prism support team and it has alteady been more than a week that we have spoken to diff agent trying to get us to do this and that ... trying to convinve us that the problem is the application and not the LCD deapite explaining to them that the APP works in all our other devices even older models. Besides, if it were indeed an APP problem, then all those who bought a PRISM should be experiencing the same issue. We check again from the shop at NEX where we purchased the unit and they are not having this issue. Can anyone help share some ideas on this as we are really frustrated with the PRISM aftersales team and what is the 7-days warraty period for anyways

Did this issue manifest itself while using other App/Source? It would be helpful if pictures are available.

Just recently got a 65" PRISM+ TV (1st time using their TV) for below $900. Quite ok, except find the screen very reflective especially in daytime. Upon closer look, seems got screen protector secured by tape... Are we supposed to remove this, will it result in the display being less reflective?

One plus point for me is it plays nice with my Sony soundbar unlike previous Samsung TV (where the soundbar will weirdly turn on the TV by itself). Another big plus is that there are no problems playing local Mediacorp TV, whereas the Samsung would have stuttering playback especially during bad weather; since my mum only watches local TV so now less complaining, haha.
Hi, I bought the same model and it was very reflective, much like a mirror. Upon closer look, found there was tape on 4 sides of the TV, have you try removing the screen protector?

If the “screen protector” is secured by pieces of tape, it certainly is meant to be removed after installation.

5months using the TV Q55

- Super laggy interface.. super slow
- Very lousy picture quality when watching day time
- not bright enough

Launching simple twitch app makes the TV Laggy.. even the stream fails to load

Buy at ur own risk

My Q65 ultra also laggy. Worst than my Xiaomi A2. Prism overrated
Since when was prism rated anything but a cheapo mama brand ?
Even the uncle techs at sim Lim tower quote prism when comparing cheapo tvs.

overrated implies that they were considered good in the first place

Cannot compare this way as processor and implememtation is different. To be fair I would compare Prism+ with some China brand or Philips/Sharp as Prism+ is also OEM from China brand.
By the way, some facebook users confirm Prism+ is in fact OEM from China brand Skyworth.
I know their aircon is from Gree as one of my friend is using it.

They got 1 prism ad is advertise their ripple Soundbar. Compared to brand A: sound bar 869, subwoofer 1399, obviously is Sonos.

then their price 489 is good value buy etc, have more sound profiles.

OEM from Sonos is not suprise as Ikea one also OEM Sonos. Sound profiles is only software. Not hardware.
