Problem(s) with your S7/S7 Edge

Am having issues with the screen, didn't drop it or anything but I woke up this morning and am getting artefacts and discolouration all over

So far I am happy with the S7E. Like its slimness & screen size. Photos are sharp. Only dislike is the sensitivity of the keyboard & the emojis in whatsapp.
Can the emojis be changed to the regular lookng ones?

I see in Korean dramas that Samsung phones have a native app to record phone calls. Does this come with that function?

Take a trip to the Service Centre. There is definitely some issue there.

my friend is experiencing cellular data issues, got to reboot phone almost daily, on S7, not edge.

Every once in a while, there won't be any sound despite no changes made to the sound setting by me. Others have mentioned apps causing that issue but that's just ridiculous cause I have the same apps on my G2 but no sound problems.

anyone using Instagram here.. i manage a few accounts and on the S7 i cant log in to multiple accounts... i try to uninstall the updates and reinstall but still the same. There isnt a add account option.

It could be hardware or software issue.

Both G2 and S7 / S7 Edge have different hardware and software. Not the same speaker module, not the same Android OS (LG and Samsung modified Android OS).

Best to have the phone check out. If possible, maybe get another set to exchange. If not, get it fixed.

Have you done a diagnostic test on the speaker?

Key in *#0*#
Test out the speaker
Also, test out other testable options to see if there are other issues

Hey bro, you got the same problem as me. Occasionally, the phone ends up having no sound whatsoever.

I factory-resetted my phone and so far (2 days), this issue has not come up but I will continue observing

My Sony Xperia z2 and z5 also no such issues. Even my parents, both their xiaomi also no such issues so far.

I used S3, Note2, S5, all crash more, more laggy, more often go into battery-draining mode, than Sony Z3.

Now not sure whether to get S7 or Mate8. The current flagship Xperias all have worse batt life than S7 and Mate8 right?
