Problems faced when making new passport

Still can log in using NRIC and password, following by OTP sent to registered mobile.

No need smart phone and/or Singpass app.

You can actually submit on behalf of your dad the passport application online. Just need his nric and date of birth.

i helped my dad did online.
ICA side if they reject the submitted passport photo, they won't update via letter, need to login and see what's the status progress.

if want to buy a hp for parents, at least get one with decent ram, the newer android OS has some issue with multi tasking even at 6GB of ram.

I accompanied my relative to ICA few months ago to apply for the passport, the counter will help to advice on how to fill up the form and where to deposit the form and payment

By Post or Deposit Box​

Obtain a Singapore Passport Application Form (PDF, 242KB).

Post your completed application form to:

Passport Unit
Citizen Services Centre
ICA Building
10 Kallang Road, Level 2
Singapore 208718

Alternatively, drop it in the deposit box at Level 1, ICA Building, during the current operating hours from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays, and 8.00 am to 12.30 pm on Saturdays.

The deposit box will not be available after operating hours, including Sundays and Public Holidays.

Note: With effect from 2 September 2024, operating hours for the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Services Centre located at the ICA Building will be from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays. The building will be closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

the phone to key Singpass password for OTP nowadays needs face scanning verification also must help him too. To do highly confidential matters like viewing statements, best to bring both ics to Singpass Office to log in one as Family Caregiver. Haiz, no latest phone model, no Sim Only, not online, how apply anything.

last time there were forms available there, just fill up on the spot and drop form into box after pasting your photo. but not sure if still got photo booth there

Thanks for the info. Difficult for Special needs (IQ problem) people without doing Face Scanning on phones and to Singpass!
