You may submit it for certification by yourself if you are worried.
Where/how would you submit the certification?

Wow, platinum and white gold so much difference?!

They are known for their quality in their diamonds and also their craftsmanship in customization..
It will depend on what you want to do...
The price of their bands are defintiely cheaper than branded..
Craftsmanship quality is good..
IMO, what's most important is that you get to have a 3d imaging of your design for customisation (especially if your planning to customize)

Finally got my diamond from a private jeweller. It's 0.63, triple excellent, F colour and VVS2.
Hca score of 1.6 with all excellent except very good spread.
Apologies for the low quality pics cos I took with my iphone 4 camera while viewing thru the lens. But I think it's good enough to see the Hearts and Arrows in it. ^_^
Looks good.
Mind sharing how much you paid for this?
Thanks! Setting not done yet; with setting will be $5,300 max since I wanted a tiff & co channel set design with multiple diamonds at the sides.![]()
That's cheap.
My diamond cost me 7k. Although my color is D and clarity VS2 only.
Lucky me, I did ask JP to quote me too. They quoted me $7k plus too although it's a super ideal cut diamond. IMO, the difference in price not really worth it for the difference in cutting.
My diamond has no H&A certification on its GIA cert and I had a tough time finding this since my jeweller gave me about 15 diamonds to choose from. This one has the best HCA score.
Oh then I can't go there already. Some girls insist on GIA cert and all the nonsense.
What's the difference in cutting?
You could share your contact, good for future users.

In the hearts picture, the 11 o'clock heart is small, 7 o'clock heart got small crack.
In the arrows picture 1 and 3 o'clock hearts are abit misaligned.
The triangles (between the arrows) are different shapes and sizes.
Did you see the diamond with the ASET Scope?
The Hearts & Arrows scope only shows the symmetry of the diamond.. it doesn't analyze the light leakages.
Cos even if the hearts & arrows pictures looks good, what it only means is that the diamond is cut symmetrically. But this can also mean that the diamond have symmetrical light leakages... Personally, I find the ASET scope more important that the hearts & arrows scope... cos light leakages = less sparkles.
If I'm not wrong, JP only carries diamonds with HCA score below 1.4... But the HCA tool is just a filtration step cos it doesn't use all the facets in the diamond.
But, if you're willing to compromise on the Cut of the diamond, it would definitely be cheaper... It's quite hard to compare this diamond with JPs...

Agree, buy what you can afford.
If you can afford perfection go for it.
If you can't afford perfection, cut some corners without compromising quality too much is fine by my book. Agree that the 1 and 3 o'clock arrows in the 2nd picture are not aligned perfectly (i.e. its not a straight line). Does it matter alot? Depends on the person.

This is an good video explaining the ASET scope.
Yup! Although the 1 and 3 o'clock arrows are misaligned, I guess my gf prolly won't notice.. haha heck.. even if it's aligned perfectly and i tell my gf, it prolly be a only "me gusta" kinda thing.![]()
Unless she starts comparing and stuff like that
no one saw that
