Thanks origiri for your input. This is $5.2k. That’s what I was told that if it comes from JP, it can’t go wrong. But because I usually refer to a table with the proportions number so I was a bit concerned with the crown angle.

That's actually very cheap! Mine is 0.60 E VVS2 and is $5.3k. For $100 cheaper and 0.05 carats more is a good deal. Better reserve that diamond! Really cannot go wrong with JP they filter the best of the best already

Thanks CutiePie84 for your input. Really appreciate your help in uploading my scopes And thanks for helping me to check the HCA score (I don’t really know what this is for except I was told I can use it to eliminate my selection of diamonds of the same specifications).

As I usually refer to a table with the proportions number so I was a bit concerned with the crown angle, but I feel more relieved after your explanation. May I know where do you check for the Super Ideal Cut proportions for all angles?

The table that I referred to stated that the crown angle for Super Ideal Cut should fall between 34 - 35 and the pavilion angle should fall between 40.6 - 41. So the steeper the pavilion, the shallower the crown angle?

I calculated your diamond is HCA 0.9

You can watch these two videos from JannPaul. But essentially HCA is a tool that attempts to estimate how well the light return of a diamond is. But it only uses 17 out of 57 facets of the diamond. So it is better used as a rejection tool to eliminate poor performing diamonds.

All JannPaul SIC are HCA 1.4 or less which makes them high performers. Yours being 0.9 should let you know that it is very good but ultimately you still need to see the ASET scope to see the true light return (See 2nd video).

Long story short, he took it better than I expected and agreed to get me a better diamond upgrade in the future. He was willing to buy a new one for me himself but I felt so bad, and told him that we'll pay half half each for the new ring. I cried knowing how supportive he is and not judging me for not liking the diamond. This weight has finally been lifting off my shoulder. Thank you all for the help! I'm feeling excited again after seeing everyone's diamond ring from JP. Looks like I'll be visiting them soon

Great news! Glad things have worked out for you two. Now you can bring him to JP and next thing you know he will be doing a lot of research to find the right diamond for you!

He didn’t cut me short, everything was clear and all their diamonds were all viewable live through the Aset, hearts n arrows etc. Whole thing lasted 3 hours and he entertained my never ending questions, showed me everything under all lighting conditions even though we stretched to 2am. I’ve been to their store last year and I can say their online consultation is as good or even better than in store. I have nothing but praise for their service and transparency. The appointment is foc and it just works through a browser, just need a computer and u can enter their live chat system. Got a Brellia H&A reserved. Thanks! I placed a deposit for one of their upcoming Brellia since they did not have stocks for the one I wanted. Apparently, they are left with less than 10 Brellia diamonds in their stock.

Casey told me the labs in the US are also on lock down so everywhere supply is on stand still. Just nice they have a 0.55ct Brellia but its still with the cutter because of the lock down period. They gave me the estimated grading of E-G and VVS2-VS2, then the price range. They let me place a deposit to reserve it first and its fully refundable if I decide not to take it. Working with them on the customization part now.

Uploaded for you. The proportions are good. Though you still need to check it with the scopes. The clarity plot has no inclusions on the edges so that's a good sign. Hard to tell the price without the details bro. Only have G VS2
