I consider Hatten cos its high rise hotel and theres a direct coach from Spore. Convenient. Looks like i nid to grab fm Hatten to DT if i decided to take the latter.

Btw Equatorial hotel bite the dust? :o

Equatorial Hotel was closed for total makeover by new operator, but yet to hear of any completion... That one time when we decided to check out of DT to shop around Pahlawan with our luggage, we chose to be picked up from Equatorial (was one of Luxury Coach's Melaka pickup points) and that's when we learned about it closing.

Ya, I like my hotel rooms to be around the 20th floor, thus prefer tall hotels too. :grin:

Thinking of going Malacca for the first time soon. Any sample itinerary or recommendations you guys have? Main objective is to eat and maybe at night find a chinese live band bar to chill.

Also is 5d4n too long? How about any nearby places that are near malacca that I can venture out for a day trip or 2d1n trip

Malacca 3D2N enough already unless you going out to kampong areas.
The city centre and touristy stuff are dead Monday to Thursday. The city comes to life only on weekends.

Go early Friday, leave Sunday/Monday, then head to Port Dickson for a night.

I think 3D2N max, lots of choices depend what interest you.

Kum sia hameda. Last time I went there. Didn't pre book and were told no more slots. End up in some malls do foot massage.

Nadeje already had 2 sites preC19. According to this article, the Plaza Mahkota one was where they first started in Melaka.
