If the workplace makes you tired, will you still stay on if they persuade you to change your mind, knowing you leave without a job?

But you really want to leave coz it's making you tired...burnt out your weekend...and your RO may not understand you and ask you to stay...despite you already state so...
Your health, whether physical or mental is of utmost importance.
Your RO may dismissed it but you know better.

I can only say.
Cherish what you already have.
Find a way to overcome it.
If you quit, it will be the end of your world unless you are some millionaire or possess side income to pay your monthly expenses.

Quitting is not a solution.
Just the beginning of another crisis.
When I am in 20s,if dnt like place too far will quit within week;)

Now got age dare not do that unless I got enough saving and passive income dare to quit:)

some jobs u never quit first, hard to have time to upskill at all.

stay = become irrelevant
quit = no $$ but have more time for yourself to upskill.

take a gamble?

In the first place what is your job? If you need a family to feed, you must stay lor. Simple as that.

There is no such thing as 'love a job' for a family man like us; sadly, you have to grind. I assume you are 56 years old ("liksome56"). Unfortunately and sadly, you have not much choice in the open job market at this age. I am a bit younger than you, I am also loon-ing in my job. If you buay dong or buay loon, then that's it, you may become a taxi driver (if that is the outcome you want).

TS have to decide whether he can handle the period of joblessness.
And it may stretch with no end in sight.
It will be worse than tiredness that he is experiencing now.
Maybe he have to live it to find out himself.

@Lchlch Your favorite topic.
Hi bro, tks for the heads up.
According to ts going thru right now, if he feels stress, anxiety, anxiously out of nothing, just fear inside him without any reason, and gg to work is like carrying a heavy rock on his back.

Then I suggest is tender, yes trader without a job is extremely risky. .but if really mental health is affected, I eould suggest tender to save oneself from unknowingly drop into abyss of mental depression.

If your work is adversely affecting your physical and mental health (not simply tired and bored), then maybe it is time to consider throwing letter. PROVIDED you do not have heavy liabilities to service and you have other income sources to pay your bills. Depending on your age and other factors, quitting without a job now may turn into super-long holidays, or even a permanent one. So, have to take that into consideration.

At least they try to make you stay. Some company can't wait to see you pack and leave asap. If it's affecting your physical & mental health, then you should quit without any job offer.

Rule 1: Never leave without a job
Rule 2: Only leave after you found a job
Rule 3: If you rather die than work there, then leave.
